App crash
Every time I open the app and scroll down toward my rooms the app crashes. Everything is up to date and it doesn’t work correctly.

App crashes when scrolling through devices. PLEASE FIX URGENTLY!
Re-downloaded App
I use Lutron App to control my lights on a schedule; so I infrequently use the App. I used today & it wouldn’t load until I deleted App & re-downloaded on my iPhone.
I imagine the new App update last week didn’t load properly but works great now.

Update now will not load. About to replace Lutron
Latest update like others it will not load. Grief.
Since looking at other reviews asking forever for a simple timer feature and easier scheduling options I believe it’s becoming clear that Lutron isn’t interested in the customers wants but rather just the customer’s money.
When you are 3-5 times higher for the same equipment you should be 3-5 times the features and ease of use.
Been running caseta along with kasa switches for years and the kasa are by far better and easier to use. No bridge required, timers, simple scheduling and cheap.
Harsh review? Maybe so, but stop ignoring the customers.

Geofencing broken again
Every time they update this app geofencing stops working.
Lazy & Unhelpful
This rating will remain at one star until updates come with useful information on what is changing so I can make educated choices at to whether or not to update. If small companies can give us information in great detail, so can large companies making money hand over fist.
Won't load
Since recent update app won't load it just sits and spins. Tried deleting app and reinstalling but still not working. Please fix

Reliable
The Lutron app is the most reliable way to commission and setup your system. It may not be the fastest to launch but loaded it gives you complete control. Thanks Lutron!
Works as expected which is more than enough
Honestly when it comes to smart devices my expectations are pretty low. As long as my devices are working reliably I am happy.
Setup of devices is quick and easy, it works every time I’ve tried to use it. It also paired easily to HomeKit. Being able to fine tune trimming etc is icing on the cake.
Less is more, reliability and predictability is all I ask for with my smart home and the Lutron app has so far done exactly that. No additional bells or whistles required.

Why is this app taking up half a gig of storage?
Works great on my phone.
I like this app because it works every time I use it.
Efficiency
I’ve used a plug in module for my lamp in this system for more than 3 years and I loved it! It extended the life of the light bulbs on my floor lamp, and I didn’t have to change them more often.
BEST
I would use no other lighting control system Lutron is the best all around and they have the best costumer service.

Lutron Smart Switches
My 2 complaints are 1 you can’t apparently use a voice command (with Alexis) to activate a “scene”. My other complaint is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to pre-program the Lutron light switch for a specific power level. It’s only on or off and then you can adjust the power level, but that’s a whole extra step. Otherwise I love the smart switches!

Slow to use, not premium
While Lutron hardware is fantastic, I’m surprised to see the gracious ratings of this app. If you actually look at it more critically, it is VERY slow and difficult to use. Every step of the app requires several steps of waiting—whether you are opening the app, adding a new fixture, or just doing routine maintenance like renaming and moving items around. In some cases, updates don’t save or it takes several seconds for an update to save while the UI is frozen. There needs to be a bigger effort from Lutron to improve their software performance in this regard. Additionally, but perhaps less important to performance, the app feels very dated, the UI needs to be refreshed and the lack of automatic dark mode should be fixed.
