About

Macros is a fast, simple way to track what you eat. Log a food and it lands in a daily ring showing calories against your goal and how your protein, carbs, and fat are stacking up. Every meal gets its own line with a mini macro bar, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner each tell their own story. WHERE YOUR MACROS COME FROM Tap any slice of the ring and it lights up that macro while a leaderboard ranks the exact foods behind it. See that most of today's protein came from your chicken, not your oats. It is the fastest way to understand a day, not just record it. SEE IT BEFORE YOU LOG Every food previews exactly what it adds to your day before you commit. No surprises after the fact. ACCURACY YOU CAN TRUST Food databases are crowdsourced and sometimes wrong. Macros lets you check a food against its Nutrition Facts label the first time you log it. Confirm once and your numbers are locked in, never quietly overwritten later. SET A GOAL, GET YOUR NUMBERS Not sure how much to eat? Enter your stats and pick a goal, from maintain to lean cut, cut, lean bulk, or bulk, and Macros sets your daily calories and macro targets for you using a standard TDEE calculation. No spreadsheets, no guesswork. FIND ANY FOOD FAST Scan a barcode or search a large food database. Save custom foods and build reusable meals for the things you eat all the time. MAKE IT YOURS Prefer your own numbers? Set calorie and macro targets by hand in grams or percentages, with a flexible macros mode for the days that do not go to plan. WORKS WITH APPLE HEALTH Your calories and macros flow into Apple Health, so the rest of your fitness picture stays in sync. A fresh look for your diary: • Dark mode is now the default, with a deeper, calmer look throughout • Clearer colors: protein and carbs are easier to tell apart in the ring and bars • Redesigned bottom bar — the log button is docked, nothing floats over your food • Smoother transitions when a day gets its first food • Faster search and barcode results when a food source is slow • Logging while viewing a past day now lands on that day, with the preview to match
