Love this for tracking
This is a great app for tracking food. The owners are always making improvements and reach out for feedback. I’ve been paying for the premium version for a few years now after leaving MFP.

Been using for years, has everything I need without the bs. Also all key features aren’t gatekeeped behind a paywall. Surprised it isn’t #1 on here.
Like the new updates, but laggy
I really like the new updates where you can plan your meals and have a set menu for the week. But for some reason I can’t go back and add missed meals anymore. I can choose the foods but I can’t actually log them - the button doesn’t work. And the app is running sluggishly. Needs a bit more debugging.

Doesn't list Fiber as one of the main nutrients tracked
I really wanted to love this app, but my dietitian wants me to track fiber, protein, carbs, and fat. This tracker lists protein, carbs, fat and calories in the main section next to each food item but not fiber. You have to drill down into the other nutrients to find fiber. People have been requesting this option for two years and it still hasn't been instituted.

Horrible Update
I really am disappointed I use to love this app in 2024-2025, the recent update is HORRIBLE. Please go back to the old app. It’s so hard to properly calculate your meals, Difficult to search and log already made meals, and it’s too much cluttered on one screen. I might as well give my fitness pal my money! I will be deleting this app.

Inaccurate
After using this app for years and not seeing much progress, I finally realized its calories are underreported by up to 300. This is a huge and unforgivable discrepancy and their database should be checked and everyone who downloads this app with the hope of making progress should not have to go into this blind.

Good free trial, convenient but imperfect AI logging
I like the trial, because I really want to get a feel for if an app like this is accurate and convenient enough for me to stick with it before I pay for it. I love the convenience of AI logging but it can be inaccurate sometimes (for example I was describing a meal that included lean chicken and it came up with Alfredo with lean chicken lol…there was no Alfredo mentioned). Hopefully the AI will get smarter and more accurate as time goes on.

I’m really enjoying this app. It’s pretty intuitive, unfortunately I’m not.
I needed assistance from support to enable some premium features. Jacob was fantastic, got me through the process quickly, and had me set within minutes. I really like being able to track net carbs as well as total carbs, great feature.

Best macro app
I tell everyone to use Macros First at my gym and have converted many over. Best macro app ever.

It seems hard and convoluted at first but as soon as you realize you don’t need to even look at the extra stuff like nutrients etc it’s just like any other tracker. But with loads of free features that on other apps would cost a premium
Login loop
You get the app, fill out questions and then need an email for a login link. Link takes you to a browser page that says download app, if you open the app it asks to open your email. No way to get past this loop of open app/open email. Maybe it works if you click premium instead of free.
