Unreliable
Pre booked a trip two days before departure Pollensa to Soller - happy to pay cash €120. Waiting at designated point and taxi cancelled us at the time of pick up - just like that.
Left is with a 2.5 hour x 2 bus journeys with heavy luggage
I used twice before local trips - long wait .
Pretty useless .. next time we’ll hire a car and add to Mallorca traffic problems

Very unreliable
Went from 1st in the queue on the app to 15! Booked well in advance, impossible to get a taxi with this company. Really disappointing experience. All my shopping defrosted, used the last of my holiday money too. Very incompetent app. AVOID!

Where us uber. At least they know how to run a taxi service. This is an absolute joke. No one knows what they are going. The app is not for purpose

No taxis even arrive and when you go to pre book a taxi, no destination is available to select!!!!!! Been stranded in the middle of no where our entire holiday because no other taxis will come and get us accept this app that doesn’t work properly

Booked a cab for 4, a 7 seater turned up and someone else decided they wanted to go too. Driver refused to take them because booking was only for 4. Queue makes no sense as someone who books after you often gets a cab first. If you get to one in the queue it kicks you out and you have to start again.

Unpredictable wait times
Some days you wait 10 mins. Today I was waiting 2 hours for a cab. After 2 hours my partner downloaded the app, input the same trip details and got a cab in 10 mins while I was still “in the queue” and had been waiting 2 hours. Might have been lunch/siesta time… but who knows. Just be aware of the possible long wait time.

Good for Palma area
I used this app multiple times to order rides and some were relatively last minute it wouldn’t take longer than 20 mins to get a taxi and the pricing was always accurate or cheaper. This being said we were in Palma where it was very busy and we stayed in this area for the most part but I would definitely use again! Cheaper than taxiclick!

Buggy app
We booked a cab that was supposed to arrive within two minutes. The driver then cancelled the trip and the app kept saying “trip completed”. It would not let me book another trip. I clicked “repeat”; I cancelled the trip; I tried to pre-book a trip. Nothing was possible. I had to delete the app and re-install it with another email address for it to work again.

Sat in a Q for too long
Several times we tried using this app and gave up! Sat at number 1 in the Q for over 15 minutes. Then got a call to say taxi wasn’t actually near us and cancel trip
Waste of time
Left stranded in Puerto Pollensa after being 1st in the queue for 45mins before giving up. Multiple taxis dropping off passengers and becoming available right next to me. Drivers are clearly picking and choosing their fares. We ended up getting bus and will not be using this service again. Awful.

After requesting a cab on the app, waiting 20 minutes, and chatting with our driver via the app he picked up another passenger. We showed him our confirmation with his license plate number and he said “It doesn’t matter-these other people have been waiting 30 mins.” What’s the point of this app if the driver doesn’t use it? Oh then he closed out the trip in the app indicating that we were “no shows.” Nice.

Tried to order a taxi last night, waited it a queue for nearly an hour, made it to number one, then back up to 2 and then it reset. Had to get the bus in the end

Don’t worry, they said. This is the taxi app of the island, they said. Don’t use uber they said…

At 5:30 I managed to get into a bus. Arrived at the airport and missed my plane!
3h later, the driver calls me. “It’s your taxi” he said.
Horrible customer experience!

Terrible app but no alternatives
Be prepared for very long waits - 30 minutes minimum. You get no idea how long you will actually wait, just you are in a queue that counts down (and occasionally counts up as well!) it can take ages to move a single place in the queue - 15 minutes is our personal record to move 1 space which seems strange when there are so many Mallorcabs on the streets. Just painful but doesn’t seem to be any alternatives. Just give yourself plenty of time if you need to be somewhere - plan for a 1 hour wait minimum.

Do not rely on this app!!!
After two weeks in North Mallorca and used the app on multiple occasions I was let down time after time, the app works well and says you are in a queue, the taxis can see you are trying to book the journey ie Pollensa to Alcudia and yet your taxi never arrives. Spent 1.5hr trying both direct via the app and then via the hotel desk (as they get priority and can and do bump you down the queue!). You cannot also hail a taxi if they have Mallorcab sign written on them even if the light is illuminated!!! So frustrating. Im afraid I prefer the island before this app. Taxis were readily available and at least usable. If it wasn’t for the excellent bus service on the island, I would have been stranded twice! Avoid - use the bus or hire a car.
