Great family therapy helped us a lot.

The app can use some love but we really liked the goals, the messaging and that you can work together as a whole family. Our therapists were incredible actually, you can tell they are very specialized and really care.

“Journal feature”

Apparently there’s some kind of journal feature my child is supposed to have? Why don’t we have it? He has two tabs, which is goals and home. That’s it. What’s happened? Also the app glitches WAY too much and sometimes says he completed the goal, we approve or whatever, but it doesn’t give his coins. Stupid stupid stupid. Gives too many upset fits to be a “positive mental health app”

Yay

Very fun but definitely a bit hard to use if you’re not on a phone

5 stars!

We love this app. It has been a great tool for us as parents and for our children. Thank you to the Manatee team for doing the hard work - I am with the others and wish this was around when I was a kid.

Communication During Tough Transitions

My husband and I recently got new jobs that require a lot of transition for our little family of three. A friend recommended manatee and said it was really helpful in times of any transition, so we tried it and couldn’t be happier. We are communicating more often and finding our way through tough conversations. Highly recommend!

Transforming Family Well-being!

Manatee is a must-have for families prioritizing mental health. Its user-friendly interface and personalized insights make it invaluable for fostering open conversations and learning how to support each other while navigating challenges. Highly recommend!🌟

Ghosted

Had an appointment that was confirmed multiple times up to 10 minutes before the scheduled session. My coach never called me. No answer when I texted, chatted and tried to call. Wow! Feeling insecure about my parenting and tricked into thinking someone out there was going to help me. I feel worse than I did before! Is this a scam?

Disappointed

Therapist dropped care of my 9 yr old daughter for personal reasons. That’s sort of understandable but upsetting, however their system needs work, we struggled to make appointments across time zones. Lots of confusion. Paid out of pocket kinda seems like a waste of money now.

100/10

Amazing company. Great support. Would recommend to anyone. Wish I had something like this as a kid!

So valuable for my family

I love the app, the lessons and nudges! and the therapist team is amazing. Honestly helped my family a lot.

Great app!

My kids absolutely love this app! Manatee is extremely useful and a great tool for growth. Highly recommend to all!

GAME CHANGER

This app is a game changer for my family. The new guide to anxiety has given us so many helpful tools and tips to build resilience within our kids! It is so fun for kids and parents. Thank you Manatee!

Helps focus on the positive

Manatee has been great to help me and my child notice the progress made, which motivates further effort. Topics are presented distilled to their simplest form without being oversimplified

Game Changer

My son and I have really enjoyed using Manatee together! It helps me stay on top of his goals for the week and gives him a sense of pride and accomplishment when he achieves them. Not to mention the fun rewards we get to share as a family. I’ve told all my friends about this app!

Never experienced anything like it!

This is such an awesome way to look at treating mental health! I’ve seen lots of goal-oriented mental health ideas, but nothing like this where you ACTUALLY let your child have autonomy over their mental health journey. I’ve seen some pretty significant progress come out of using this app and am soo glad it’s something that has actually been helping.

Also the team is really quick to help out with any questions I’ve had so it’s great to see there’s people behind it who just really want to help. Oh and not to mention that the app is just gorgeous and super fun to be on!!

Manatee helps the entire family!

Manatee really helped me and my kiddo stay on top of some goals that we wanted to work on together in a fun and easy way.

Love it!

The Manatee app has been an amazing tool for our family during the pandemic. I started using Manatee in July when I noticed that social isolation was really taking a toll on my kids. The goals on Manatee really helped my kids (and me) practice self-care and I’ve seen a huge difference!!

Feeling grateful for the renewed sense of connection and well-being we’ve found through this app :)

New to app

Been happy with the app and setting individual goals and rewards for both of our sons has worked great

Am an adult but wanted to use this

I’m a college student but I really liked the idea of a points system as well as the happy art style. A lot of mental health apps for adults take themselves very seriously and the idea of an art style that makes me smile and a system that feels low-stakes but with clearly defined goals and rewards is very appealing. However, I don’t see any way to do this short of adding myself as a child and then signing in/out every time I wanted to change something? Still giving 5 stars because this is something I wish I’d had when I was a kid.
