Don’t use app
Somehow the app is more expensive than just ordering of chownow or directly at the store, they also give significantly less options. I genuinely don’t understand why anyone would use this app.
App is slow and not in intuitive
This app seems to be running quite slow on multiple devices. I tried and is not intuitive. Radio buttons are very gray with minimal contrast, and you have to choose the type of bagel you want multiple times even if it’s only for one sandwich which doesn’t make any sense.
Repetition is simple simple
Always looking for a good bagel, something that I grew up with North Jersey. And what I found Manhattan bagel Bryn Mawr is consistency team is always welcoming. I keep it simple and I get what I want when I want it.
Won’t let me place an order
App takes my order, then tells me “menu has changed”, requires me to look at new menu. I enter order again, and same error. Endless loop and can’t order - dozen bagels, breakfast sandwich and coffee. Nothing challenging. Not working. App is up to date.
App won't work
For some reason I keep getting an error when I try to order through the app! Very frustrating...I contacted ChowNow support but they haven't resolved the issue even though they said they did. Real bummer because I've used the ChowNow app for many years prior to this recent issue.

App could be simplified to order
The app should be simplified to be able to change the quantity of each flavor, rather than having so many sections to scroll down and add additional quantities of the same flavor. Items misspelled also!
Excellent
Great food, highest quality, even better friendly service
New app is terrible
The new app forces you a minimum order for pickup which is rediculous. You can’t buy less than half a dozen by the bag. If you try to you have to jump through hoops just to get a bagel not toasted in a bag. As a loyal customer of 20 years at this particular Manhattan Bagel, I’m going to start going elsewhere. There are too many choices now. Sorry Manhattan. Bye.

App is weird
I entered my order and then it would delete it, telling me the menu had changed. I had to re enter my order three times before it finally worked
Jerry is excellent! App needs improvement
I am extremely impressed by the customer service at the Manhattan Bagel 18th street location - namely Jerry! Rough week trying to get a bakers dozen delivered for an Easter Brunch. The app mistakenly had Easter Sunday as an option for delivery and he called me personally within the hour to apologize/have me cancel through the app then reorder for Saturday. There was no option for me to cancel myself so I was in contact with the Chownow Virtual assistant through text several times/3 different helpers over the next day or two (every time a conversation closes or you dont answer for a certain period, you are disconnected/reconnected with a new helper once you text back). The assistants and I were repeatedly trying to call the restaurant to no avail as they were extremely busy.
In the meantime a very kind lady from the café called and offered to cancel the Sunday order but for some reason it was not accomplished as Jerry called me again (now Thursday) to follow up and apologize that he was still seeing both. This time he noticed I was ordering 13 individual bagels and suggested that I try one more time and order the value pack. He shared that since the app doesnt allow you to select more than one of each flavor in the value pack, I could just choose 13 flavors and write my special instructions in the notes. He then read my exact order to me and said not to worry because he had it written down to reference after he cancels the first two attempts. He also sent a confirmation text once the first two orders were cancelled and another once he saw my FINAL new order.
The app needs some updates and Jerry needs a raise!

Won’t let me buy anything
This stupid app won’t let me buy anything under 7.98 and I had to spend 20 bucks just to get a bagel
Excellent app and food!
Love Manhattan Bagels and the app is fantastic! I especially like the new feature where you can add hash browns to your order. Well done!

menu doesn’t make sense
If my sandwich order includes it coming on a specific bagel (Ex. Jalapeño bagel), why do I need to select a bagel to order it? Also the Jalapeño bagel isn’t listed as an option even though I know they carry it. Their website is the same way… needs to be fixed.
Hard to order
Can’t choose which kinds of bagels in a dozen
Lousy Interface
Payments processor is a third party with name that doesn’t resemble Manhattan Bagel. For whatever reason iPhone password utility doesn’t associate password w MB. So I wind up on the “forgot password” dialogue every time. When it comes to adding a card, the App doesn’t summon my stored credit cards and related info from iPhone. Gotta enter it manually. Every time.

Don’t get robbed.
The prices to order with the app are marked up ridiculously! Who would pay $9 for a bagel sandwich! If your willing to pay these prices I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
Great food, lines can get long even to pick up
I’d order online more often if the lines to pick up weren’t so bad early in the morning. I can’t wait, that’s why I order and pay ahead. I have to get to work very early.
