Super glitchy app, have tried contacting them for about a month or so to fix this horrible bug that doesn’t let me give estimates. Apparently there is no solution. Pick ANY other software.

Fabulous customer service

Andie and Jodelyn Montecillo have been amazing representatives for this company. Best customer service I’ve had from an online company I’m very happy with the work quality and amazing customer service.

App UI

I switched over from a different CRM everyone told me this is the best. This app is not easy very choppy to use. Th app should be able to have a customers address viewable and phone number on the estimates tab. Also to many steps to create estimate schedule invoice and send receipt. I’m switching back to my previous crm.

Great Option

After looking into multiple options for my remodeling business, this one made the most sense and does what multiple platforms do in one. Price is very good for what you get.
I got talked into Houzz Pro that claimed it did everything this offers, but they were full of broken promises and had horrible customer service.
Other platforms you were paying double for to get what this offers.
There are a few tweaks that could be made, but you will get that with any other platform.
Highly recommend using Markate!

Too many bugs

App has potential, but doesn’t always save estimates. Typing multiple lines in the mobile app is frustrating as it doesn’t follow your cursor down to the next line. There are a few other things as well.

Update

Your update is trash and you guys ruined the app. The look sucks, I can’t just tap on the number to call the customer, I can’t tap on the address to just go to maps. Fix this ish please. This is absolute garbage

New update now can’t upload photos

App was great with the occasional glitches, now they updated the app and I can’t upload multiple pictures at once without it failing every time. Tried on multiple network connections including WiFi and cellular.

New interface

I’ve been using Markate for 4 years now. I really liked the app but the completely charged the app to fit more of an android while I have iPhone. It’s very choppy, with less color and more difficult to navigate. I really wish they gave us an option especially headed in a new season

Excellent AFFORDABLE App for Handyman

I’ve tried many different apps for my growing handyman business. Housecall Pro is great too, BUT it’s only affordable if you have a larger business if you’re small single or only a few employees, Markate is the way to go! New updates and AI integrations seem to be awesome!

Customer Service

If you’re having problems with the app and need to speak with customer service you have to go through AI first having a whole conversation with it in order to even have a live representative give you a call back ( Hours Later ) Frustrating.

DO NOT USE THEM

I was a customer with Markate for 5 months. I canceled my membership this month by not making my payment. They went into my account and charged my card the full payment this month. I DID NOT HAVE AUTO RENEWALS ON. I could not access my account on August 28th, and on the 29th I got an email from my bank saying I have been charged. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Great product and great service

I have had Markate for a good while now and it has streamlined my business making my more efficient. Anyone in business knows that in order to provide a customer a top tier experience you need to provide a seamless experience where things make sense and flow well from initial contact to payment and review. That’s what Markate does. It’s automates the crm process with tools and systems that integrate with your everyday life. Sending reminders, creating and converting estimates, collecting payment and sending friendly time estimates are just the beginning. This app will even rout your jobs automatically saving you time and money. There is a small learning curve but nothing that should be an issue for anyone with a business. The rewards are beyond worth it. Brett helped run me through what Markate can do and Stacy has helped with any question or concern. They respond quickly and always follow up. 10/10

What a terrible app I know it’s cheaper than other competitors, but it’s almost not worth it. It randomly glitches on you. Sometimes it doesn’t auto fill the address sometimes it just freezes. I reached out to tech-support and they don’t do anything. They just ask for me to send them screenshots of what it does and it never gets better. I guess that’s what happens when you get Indian developers from halfway across the world. Who don’t care

App needs updating

The desktop version is way better than the app. The app interface feels like it’s stuck in the year 2005. Very sloppy, slow and hard to use

Great especially for the price

There is a lot to love about this app. They obviously work hard to make this app work for their customers. It saves me a lot of time on the manual tasks associated with running my window cleaning business.

Really sloppy and confusing so far

I can’t say I’m happy so far with Markate. The interface is sloppy, glitchy and confusing. A lot of confusing redundancy. I’m still learning it and once I get use to it I’ll update my review but not going to lie I hate this whole CRM so far. Customer service is impossible, be prepared to wait 4-5 days for a response through phone call. They only have a few people responding through chat support so it’s always a headache getting any answers. Small company, only 36 employees and it’s painfully obvious.

Great for Home service businesses

I really love this app. It’s affordable and covers scheduling, easy estimating on the spot! And much more!
ISSUES
•Freezes at times you have to close and reopen. Please fix!

Best App!

Great business app. I use it for lawn care and cleaning services for reoccurring. I also do handyman invoices as well.

Extremely happy

Been using Markate for about three years now extremely happy with it. It makes estimating an invoicing, much easier and organized, I always get compliments from new customers on how professional they are. I would definitely say that it has helped me get better customers and bigger accounts. Well worth it

Better off with Jobber

Insanely buggy software that they are not interested in fixing. Will continue to take your money and assure you that things will be fixed and then they won’t. To learn how to use the app you have to watch dozens of support videos because it’s such a confusingly constructed app with poor UX. Pass.
