Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience hasn't met your expectations. We appreciate how frustrating it can be when you're waiting for support, especially when it relates to your account. Having looked into this, it appears there was some confusion with your original support request from last week. When you first contacted us, our system suggested help articles based on your query. As you marked the article as having resolved the issue, your ticket was automatically marked as solved, which meant it was no longer waiting in our support queue. I'm sorry this wasn't clearer and that it gave the impression your query had been ignored. We've since responded to your latest message and are working to resolve your query as quickly as possible. We're also sorry to hear you've experienced issues with the app. Our team is continually working to improve the app's performance and introduce new features, so we'd really value hearing more about the issues you've encountered. We've sent you a private message and would appreciate any additional detail you can share, as this will help us investigate and continue improving the experience for all our customers. Best wishes, The Currensea Team
Credit card
Sad
I want to attach the attachment that says I must need to spend £1000 in one year in order to get my welcome 15,000 points so what’s the point of me paying yearly fee? If I still have to spent £1000? I just joined a Marriott app and this debit card really attracted me because I always stay in marriott hotel and I love marriott hotels, but this thing was New so I thought okay let’s give it a go. I was about to pay £175 for whole year for premium membership because it says it will be gold status automatically like as soon as we open, but then I said let’s try with basic so I paid £55 and when I login, I was so shocked to see this
I cannot attach that attachment, so I’m gonna copy past
“15,000 Welcome Bonus Points
Spend £1,000 in foreign currency by 28.06.2027 to earn 15,000 Welcome Bonus
Points. Points will be added to your account 14 days of reaching the target. If the target isn't met by the deadline, the Welcome Bonus Points won't be awarded.
Points take up to 14 days days to credit to your Marriott® account after the bonus criteria has
been met.”
Says it all
I will still stay in Marriott hotels, but I am not going to renew this debit card thing I felt like I was scammed

You can cancel but it takes several clicks, forms and emails, you won’t be entitled to any cooling off period.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Respectfully, this is not an accurate representation of how the card works and our service. The card works by connecting to your bank account using Open Banking technology. Your Available Balance isn't a direct reflection of the exact amount available in your bank account, as it displays the amount exclusively available to spend using your card at the time of the transaction. This takes into account your spend limits and pending transactions that have not yet been collected from your linked bank account. When you make a transaction, your bank confirms if you have the funds available, and the transaction goes through if there's enough funds in your linked bank account and enough space in your spending limits. We then collect the funds automatically via Direct Debit. Due to the nature of direct debit this typically takes 2-3 business days to process, and there can be further delays because of bank holidays. This is because Direct Debits are not processed by banks over weekends or bank holidays. We trust that clarifies the matter. Best wishes, Marriott Bonvoy Debit Card
