I ordered the JAIN DELUXE 1 Week Trial and expected jain food but the mealwe team decided to SURPRISE ME ! and gave me NON JAIN food on day 1, as i was suspicious, i asked a friend to try it out, and they said it was NON JAIN, i call them, delay my already late lunch to 3 pm by ordering from zomato, (thankfully that was jain and they did not want to surprise me); i talk to their team, they ensured that it was just a 1 time thing and won't be repeated, but little did i know of the mischievous people of mealawe, they did it again in DAY 2!
A proper GARLIC DAL TADKA, but they did change it up a notch !, only the Dal was NON JAIN,
I've asked them to cancel my order !

A Delightful Dining Experience with Reliable Service
I recently tried out the mealawe and overall I must say I was quite pleased. The food they offer is genuinely good not just average, but really enjoyable and well-prepared. On top of that the service is quite reliable they manage to deliver everything on time which is always a big plus. Overall a great experience!

Worst service and sales
Writing this review after using their service for 15 days
Their sales representatives do fake promises to make you buy the subscription and the promises is never fulfilled.
The food also starts getting worse, half cooked roti, stale dal etc once you buy the subscription
Also, the delivery person will force you to rate them 5 star before delivery the food and will take screenshots

I have been using this app for quite some time now and i can say it is very reliable and the beat option for home made food options. Definitely recommended!

Real Homemade Experience & Awesome Service
I’ve subscribed to Mealawe for the past 1 month and have to say their food is absolutely awesome. Their customer service team Shivam, Kiran, Shruthi were awesome, helpful and responsive. I was initially sceptical of their service and have shared few improvement suggestions wrt the packaging and quantity which they were gracefully receptive. I am able to see their services improving day by day. The chefs over there, it’s a pity I can’t appreciate them by name, but they truly deserve credit for their real homely tasty food they are making with skill and care, my deep appreciation goes to them and to all those who strive to deliver the homely food till it reaches my hand. I’m glad to recommend mealawe and hoping they continue to provide their noble services of delivering quality food with the high ethical standards they are upholding now, all the very best to mealawe!!!

NEW REVISED REVIEW!!
After subscribing from this fraudulent company for more than a month, they started showing their true colours!! My mom stays alone most of the times, initially the food quality dropped. The dishes started tasting horrible and food would always be stale and cold. Now they are simply saying SORRY CANNOT DELIVER FOOD DESPITE OF CHARGING A LUMPSUM AMOUNT BEFOREHAND! Please don’t buy anything from here. Bunch of scammers running this so called food company!!! I gave you guys a glaring review that’s still visible here. Now this is another review after 1 month! Horrible fraudulent people running a company under the guise of MA KE HATH KA KHANA where my own mother is starving!!! What an irony! Customer care services are so bad you’ll feel like hitting yourself for trusting them!

The food is not bad, just bland. The delivery person is different every day, so you have to coordinate with them on the phone every time. The worst thing is that the company executives call you every day for trivial reasons, asking for feedback and reminding you to renew subscription. Even if you block their number, they call from different numbers. This behaviour is unacceptable.

I’ve been using this tiffin service app for the past 3 months and overall, it’s been a great experience. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate placing or modifying orders is super straightforward. The delivery is usually on time and the packaging is neat.
The quality of food is homely and fresh, which is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t have time to cook but still wants a healthy meal.

Extremely disappointed | 3 days subscription
I subscribed to the Deluxe Meal plan—thankfully only for 3 days to try it out. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a regrettable experience. On the third day, after having the second meal (dinner), I suffered from indigestion and a severely upset stomach. I had doubts when I noticed bubbles and a sour taste in the dal, but since it contained tomatoes, I assumed it might be fine. That was clearly a mistake. This experience raises serious concerns about food quality and hygiene. I cannot recommend this vendor to anyone looking for safe and hygienic meals. Extremely disappointed.

Very Bad experience
I subscribed for 2 months for this and had very bad experience . They don’t follow their menu schedules most of the time and even after complaining multiple times, they don’t take any action. They didn’t deliver food 1 day and someday random some random food is delivered. Later they ask for delivery fee for the days food were not delivered or the days random food were delivered . I mailed them multiple times but no action was taken. I am never going to refer this to anyone.

Worst Meal Delivery Service
Extremely bad service. Really admire the homecooks who make such wonderful food. I wish I could take it from the directly without having to go through this pathetic company. I think the good old ways of getting a tiffin dabba is the way to go. Everyday they will send you the meals through a different delivery person via porter who will call you 5 times to confirm the address or give them an otp. If I have subscribed to a service why should I be expected to coordinate deliveries everyday for all 3 meals. And they never stick to the menu. I have received poha two days this week for breakfast and this is the norm rather than the exception. I end up calling customer service alsmost every week for one issue or the other. I deeply regret taking the monthly subscriptions for my meals and really looking forward to finishing my plans so that I can delete this app and never use their service again.

This app is a treat to all the home made food lovers. If home made food gets delivered at affordable rates then everyone is definitely going to enjoy it.
I was amazed by the quality and the variety of options available. Varieties of food meals all at one click on the mealawe app. I tried special chicken thali and festive thali and absolutely loved it. Do try them once and trust me you will thank me.
