No longer free
I loved the free version, the ability to see beautiful artwork and learn about the artists that created it was great. Now it’s no longer free and I have to pay. No, not happening!! I deleted the app because of this.
Loved but disappointed now
I loved the free version of this app. I loved discovering new artists while enjoying the greats. Being an artist myself, I found inspiration and motivation to keep honing my skill set.
However, after this last update I can no longer get past the “force-you-to-buy” page and enjoy the app as its advertised as free OR paid usage.
The note on the screen says try it free for 7 days, but in order to get pad that screen you *have* to pay for the subscription or you can’t use the app at all. I’ve been using Mellow for well over 6 months now and find this extremely disappointing. $20 doesn’t seem like much, but being on a fixed income, that’s a lot of money - and forcing people to pay to keep using an app advertised as free, is just plain unethical.
I’ll be deleting the app, and will no longer recommend the app like I have been.

Ruined it
I used to really really like this app to look at art when it first came out but with the new updates it has the app doesnt even work. There is way too many glitches to the point where i cant even see the art due to the daily check in screen. I also saw the implementation of a subscription service and I fail to see what is exactly “premium” besides the removal of ads which didnt even exist until a short while ago. I would rather look up art on pinterest or something because it just doesnt work anymore. :(

Frustrating
So far the paid app is worse than the free app. I tried to contact Mellow online, but the contact form online reads “Required Field” even after I’ve completed it (four times); so I cannot even submit questions or a complaint. It’s a great idea and I enjoy a lot of the artwork (altho it often gives me artwork I clearly don’t like by my previous choices); overall very glitchy and disappointing considering I thought it promised me artwork to view three times a day. I get the same artwork all day long, cannot access my favorites, etc.

Frustrating, Nerve-Riding, Vein-Popping, Teeth-clenching
I have been trying to delete my account for almost a year and have contacted/emailed customer support multiple times—no response. It always says “Error! Failed to Delete Account.” Just let me delete my account. FREE ME!!!!!
