App Design 101: Beginnings: FLUNKS⁉️ 🙄

As someone who frequently logs into their bank/credit union, I cannot describe how unbelievably frustrating, and quite frankly, unfathomable it is that the app designer STILL has not addressed the login functionality of the App!

Initially, the Autofill for the username and password is COMPLETELY JACKED! Just when you think you might be getting your username and/or password entered, you’ll find it ripped away from you, forcing user to start ALL OVER AGAIN. (Secret Time Saver: Don’t waste your time. No matter how it looks it will never complete successfully, forcing the user to copy and paste, passwords and usernames, which is not exactly the most secure methodology of filling out online forms 🙄)

And now for the 🍒 on top❗️ You would assume that once you successfully filled in your username and password credentials in the app that you would thus be “logged in” the App, right⁉️ I mean, that’s how all other apps function, right❓ Well, in the case of this app . . . WRONG❗️

Needless to say, I login and log out, and perform all my other banking needs on the website.

Honestly, WHO is responsible for the App and its development⁉️

I have applied for positions at the Credit Union. I have extensive executive level experience working with many multimillion dollar companies, federal and state regulations, wage and labor boards, etc., but apparently I’m not good enough for this company. Go figure!

P.S. How in the WORLD could this App have an average Star rating of 4.7? These are all APPLE App Store ratings, correct? Not Android/GooglePlay AND Apple combined, right⁉️

Notifications No Longer Working

I set up scheduled notifications for my balances, and they worked for a while, but suddenly stopped sending out. My device has all notifications turned on. The app does not require an update. Something is just broken

Good, but needs to rotate to landscape mode

This is a good app, but it needs to be able to rotate to landscape mode so you can use it with your phone or iPad easier. The old app would rotate, but his newer version does not, please fix this!

New app has many flaws which will hopefully be fixed soon

I can’t see my pending transactions, the second person listed on my joint checking account can’t access the online banking, card transactions show up as “CARD CARD” and don’t show the name of the business unless you click through them one by one, it’s a 4 step process to log out, the ad banner at the top takes room away from viewing my accounts as easily, and there aren’t enough characters to appropriately rename accounts, such as Emergency Savings.
On the plus side, the online banking is at least operational for my primary checking account now, where it was down for several months prior to the upgrade. I like that I can copy and paste my account numbers for ease of access now. Account transfers are truly immediate now, where they weren’t in the previous app, and that is convenient when you need a last-minute move after hours.
Hopefully the issues will be resolved very soon, as they overshadow the upsides of the upgrade.

Touch login is flaky

The app itself works just fine. But the fingerprint touch login will work one day, and then not work at all until you uninstall the app and then reinstall it and begin the process all over again.

Deleted and reinstalled every 2 weeks

I have to delete and reinstall this app often to get it to work

Easy to use once you figure your way around the app. Very handy

A complete inconvenience!

This app has always been so difficult for me. From “no internet connection” (even though I have great service/WiFi to “incorrect username or password” (even though it says my Face ID is valid and I’ve never changed my username or password! I’ve seen other reviews and they’re from years ago, therefore I know this issue won’t get fixed but I just want future users to know what to look forward to. There’s no reason to have a mobile banking app if it never wants to work properly.

Terrible

I dont understand why this app makes it so hard to transfer money to another bank. Let alone the bank itself said i would get my debit card in “7-10 days” that was over a month ago!!

Please update

Constant issues trying to electronically deposit checks through this app. An error always pops up telling me the dollar amount isn’t what was detected.

Nice App and Credit Union

App works great. Credit Union is so easy to work with.

Switch Banks

Pretty much what you would expect from a back that doesn’t seem to want to make anything easy. Try the app then ask yourself, objectively, how it could be rated as high as it is.

App load issues

Every other time I try to open the app it says I have no internet connection (false); I have to either restart my phone or reload the app! This is ridiculous, and has been a very user unfriendly app to log on to since day 1.

Not working

The app doesn’t work correctly, when restarting it becomes even worse.

Conecting to server or internet

Please fix the box that pops up all day that says to retry connecting to the internet. Your app is the only one that does this. I have a full WiFi signal and there is no Okay button. So I have to delete the app and reload it all the time. So annoying. It’s been going on for 6 months or longer. Fix the problem!

Slow and years behind chase banks app!!!

This app is slow and far behind chase banks app! Very sad that this is the best members heritage could do!!

Password has to be reset every time I switch from my husbands account to mine on the same phone. I’m also having getting an error when sending electronic checks.
