We had a book printed and we love having it in our home so we can read stories about our ancestors with our kids. I also love the family history games.

What Happened To ALL MY Work??
As an amateur genealogist, who’s particular about my own family, I’ve researched my own family ancestry for years. I’ve uploaded accurate, detailed data with numerous sources to the main Family Search app, the Family Search website, and the Family Search Memories app. I thought that printing out a book for my grandparents would be a nice Christmas gift this year. When I viewed the book before payment and printing, all the photos I had uploaded were there. Yet, even on my great grandparents, whose funerals I attended, the book states that they were born and died “on an unknown date at an unknown place”. Seriously??

I didn’t see anything in the product description about a charge. You said you were connect to FS.org so I assumed this was a free service from FamilySearch.

Fun! Looking forward to additional expansions
I am pleased with my book. I’m grateful it’s so easy to integrate what I’ve added to Family History. I didn’t realize it was a book about me. I was hoping I could choose my relative. I wish that I could set the individual for whom I am making the book. I’d love it if I could set it to a certain couple and create a book with both sides of their family.
For example, I am gathering all the data for my step-kids, their spouses, kids, in-laws and grandparents so I can make a book for them and the grandchildren. This could be so helpful in creating a book for them, but at this point, that’s outside the scope of this app. It would also be healing for our family if I could have the option to add the biological parents of step-children, so the entire, grafted family tree could be explored and treasured, instead of hacking out/ignoring entire limbs of the family tree. It would make it easier for blended families to recognize new family members at family gatherings.

Where to find colorings pages and sharing on social media

I think this app is amazing. I just wished I could access the coloring pages. Also, would like to spread the news about this amazing app via social media. For whatever reason these features aren’t showing up in my app.

How about an editable book option?
Love everything about this app including the option to purchase a PDF book of my family history but I would really love to be able to edit the info and layout after purchasing, please offer an editable version too.
This app is beautiful
Highly recommend- loved my ancestor book. Read it with my mom who has been so ill, remembering her sweet grandma and grandpa was so healing.

I haven’t looked at it yet but it was very easy to do. Have to pay for it before you can see it.

PDF Email???
I really like the layout and everything of the books that can be generated here with my FamilySearch Tree info, but the “Export PDF Book to Your Email” button isn’t working or if it is, it is not sending me an email to the two I’ve tried. I’ve even tried with another email by changing the email I use in the FamilySearch Tree app, but still nothing. If the developer can reach out to me and help that would be greatly appreciated!

Great app for creating a family history book
I found this app very easy to use. It will access your FamilySearch information and show you memories and photos which you can enjoy and share on social media.
You can also download a PDF book to easily scroll through the photos and memories and share them with others. You can also send that PDF book to be printed and shipped to you.

Android problem
I tried to use the Memories book app with a group at church this evening. Those with iPhones were able to download the app easily. But, those with without iPhones, (android, etc. were not able to download the app.
