Mercari is easy to use and has a great selection of products. Listing items is simple, shipping is convenient, and I’ve had a positive experience buying and selling. Highly recommend this app!

I think it is very hard to navigate around on the app to find a way to speak with a worker from this app

Many already sold items
When searching for specific items , a lot of already sold items shows up in the overview. This made the search & selection not easy. On top of this a lot of the items have not specific details in the description like : screen size , how much working memory & storage memory. Asking the user for details cost time and sometimes you don’t get an answer.

Run! Don’t walk! away from mercari. The real-life stories I have from buying and selling on this site are unbelievable. SAVE YOURSELF THE ISSUES and being victimized on this site by criminal, federal fraud crimes and many other issues using this company. What company provides prepaid labels that USPS claims are fraudulent? What company won’t take off a seller who made purchases using stolen credit cards for products they ship to their unsuspecting buyers, buyers who used their stored mercari credit to make the purchase and didn’t even use a credit card? I had to live through this. Good luck trying to get Mercari to honor the “shipping protection”- might this be “false advertising”? If you’ve had issues with Mercari, please report this company to your state’s AG’s office consumer protection division. Class Action lawsuit anyone? I have thousands in damages. Anyone else? Document document document.

Horrible customer/seller support
They allowed one of their sellers to dupe me into buying a fake item and when I told them to cancel the item, they wouldn’t. When it got her I didn’t (and still haven’t opened) macari did the survey on the on and I contacted them the same day I received the dupe. The seller could’ve cancel the transaction once they knew I did not want it anymore.. They did not have to mail it out knowing that I told them prior to that that I did not want it. Once I made customer support aware of it. They come back at me with rules in this and that (forgetting that I am a seller as well) there are things that they can do and their things that they won’t do, and being that they chose to suicide with their unethical seller because of the principle I will have to take higher measures due to company refusing to refund my money as well as the seller.

I’ve found lots of collectors cards on the site that are obviously fake and I’ve reported them to Mercari. They have done nothing to remove the items , question their validity, or get back to me. Shady site.

Do not buy off this app!! Let this be your warning they DO NOT VEIRFY THE BUYERS AND THEY ALLOW FAKES TO BE SOLD UNDER THE TAG AUTHENTIC.

Mercari is an easy and amazing platform. The good thing is how easy is to sell and buy all kind of items. There is onlyONE PROBLEM... please stop remove the auto-offers to buyers you go on and off. It make a big problem to sellers. Thank you anyway for the great platform!

Used to be a decent marketplace. Now its an easy place to get scammed. Horrible customer service. Would not waste much time here. Ebay and even FB marketplace are better places.
