App is missing a lot of
It is a little disappointing when you pay quite a premium for a Mercedes, and the app itself will not allow you to access features that a Hyundai or a Ford can do.
I am unable to disable my rear hatch from hitting me in the head if I walk too closely to the rear sensor, I cannot turn the air conditioning on to cool my car down with remote start, I cannot lower the windows or raise the windows remotely.
Interestingly enough, other parts of the world have some of these features enabled.
From reading online, there are a tremendous amount of people getting hit in the head by hatches that are closing from the auto foot sensor, honestly a lawsuit should be formulated over this foolish and dangerous feature that cannot be disabled. I would support that worldwide wagon lawsuit.

Excellent and useful app
I use the app daily for locking/unlocking, preconditioning the interior and to check on charging status. Works well!

For the luxury car experience, this brand wants to deliver this app greatly falls short.
From the app, I can see that my windows are open however when it starts to rain, I have to go out and manually close them. Why? Why can’t I just control it from the app?
The climate I live in is cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon. Why can’t I adjust the internal temperature control of the vehicle when I auto started it from the app? These are luxury car experiences that would be made so much better if they can be controlled from my phone without having to go and adjust it.
The billing is also extremely inconvenient. Other major car brands do not charge for basic features such as auto start. But Mercedes wants to charge me a subscription to be able to start my car from my phone. In addition, we own three Mercedes across two different states and if I do not use the exact billing information from the state, I bought the Mercedes in the sale will not process for the subscription to the app. Multiple calls to customer service didn’t even know what was going on. I had to call the actual dealership and take the vehicle in, which was extremely inconvenient, to figure out why the app would not take my money to buy the stupid subscription.
Do better, Mercedes. You’re marketing a luxury vehicle brand delivering a less than mediocre experience from this app.

Love the app, I have it on 3 of my cars. Auto start, auto precondition app comes in handy in Florida and NJ. Also my car is being transported and the company said it’s on the way. Well not according to my locator. Worth the money

You cannot control your cars temperature with the app, so if you didn’t leave it running at full air conditioning, it does not help you get your car cooled off in the summer. Or full heat to heat it up in the winter. It also only stays on for about nine minutes, so it certainly will not cool your car off in that amount of time, if you did not leave it running full blast. Also, after the first two years, you have to pay to use the app… Which seems a little bit ridiculous to me, since I’m taking my car in for service at the dealership. Also - I can only start remotely twice - I use it to leave my dog in the car when we go places, and sometimes I could use another restart

Solid App Overall
Overall, I love the new features and functionality. However, I’d love it if Mercedes released a Pet Mode for EVs or allowed us to leave the climate control on from the app longer. Additionally, it would be an excellent addition to be able to drive the car using the app only.

Limited Controls
Why are the controls available on the touchscreen not available in this app. Mercedes is supposed to be a luxury brand. Sad that this app has less functionality than other vehicles at a much lower price point.
Clunky limited features
Mercedes-Benz is supposed to be a name that is associated with quality reliability and good engineering. This app does not meet that expectation in any way. It has very limited capabilities and it is very very clunky. Request for Support have I could not be less impressed with my experience.
