Love my new Mercedes
This is my 2nd Mercedes. Loved my first one and gave it to my son so I could get a new one. Great app. Easy to use.
Numerous problems
Many times I've gone to start the vehicle only to find out that it was not running. Also, the location device is not accurate.
No updates
I have been asking to update my maps - my phone still shows I have an update and yet my car says all is updated - but my phone still says I need update - called several times one year and still no one can help me ?? That is why the review - the rest of the site works great.

Looking for a competitor and various car brands in the industry, this has to be one of the cleanest applications and operating systems for a owner to have an interact absolutely loving the Mercedes-Benz experience especially coming over from Bmw and Porsche

Don’t like you have to have a certain amount of gas to start the car remotely and that you have to use the app rather than fob
Needs a little make up
It would be helpful to have a lot of the frequently used options like Lock and start on the front page where it can be easily accessed. Could also use a little color and pizzazz… Functionally very useful thank you.
Need Improvement
One of my biggest frustrations is that the remote start doesn’t always work consistently. There are times when I try to start my vehicle from the app and nothing happens, which defeats the purpose of having the feature.
I would also love to see the app allow you to choose whether to turn on the heat or air conditioning when remotely starting the vehicle. On a luxury vehicle, being able to precondition the cabin, including adjusting the climate, heated or ventilated seats, and steering wheel, should be a standard feature, not something that’s missing.
The app can also be slow to process commands, and sometimes it takes multiple taps or longer than expected for simple functions like remote start or lock/unlock to complete. A more customizable home screen with quick-access buttons would make everyday use much more convenient.
Overall, the app does the basics, but for a premium brand like Mercedes-Benz, I expected a more polished, reliable, and feature-rich experience. I hope future updates focus on improving reliability and expanding climate control options.

We used to be able to control the air/temperature in the car. Will that feature be coming back?
Convenient & User Friendly
I love the fact that the app is user friendly and convenient. I can start my car before I leave out of the house. I can check anything that pertains to my car.

Personal settings
I wish we can have the individual set their drive mode to sport without having to change it every time you get in the car. Now, you have to get in. Scan the finger print ID and then set the driving mode from comfort to sport.
You should be able to just go to the drive mode to what you set as your preference. Just like the seating position.

With the last update, turning on the remote climate, the car activate alarm! Amazing!
App has gotten better
The Mercedes app has gotten better over the years. I like the new updates. Temperature controls are a great improvement, now can we get window controls ? Just an idea.

Options I want I can’t get.
For some reason, your app will not let me upload video using the cameras. I would love to have a dash cam in the car does have the technology since it has cameras all over yet it won’t support the app.

Notification needed
The application is great, however more then once my key fob button opened trunk since it was in my pocket and something pressed on the button. I with the application would notify me if something is unlocked for the long period of time. Right now the only notification I get - when I leave my vehicle unlocked. There are no other notifications available about either open window or open trunk for the extended period of time. It would be very useful feature

Temperature alert
Would like an alert when Air is disconnected, shuts off for my dog. Not safe for animals.
