I’ve banked with Meriwest for over 30 years and have never had a bad experience! This is not an exaggeration. I wish my regular bank was of the same quality. I’ve switched regular banks at least 4 times, but Meriwest has always had my business no matter where we’ve lived.

I can’t get the Zelle function to work on the app

Searching for previous cash checks could be easier. It needs to be more straightforward. It’s not very clear how to do this action for users.

The app has little lag, but it fulfills its purpose.
Zelle impossible to use on 13 mini
Latest release makes it impossible to enter amount In Zelle. Only digits 1-9 are displayed as lower part of keyboard is overlaid with account information. Also amount entered is not visible. So need to go to review to see actual value.
Developer needs to scale for 13 mini screen which they did on previous versions.

App is glitchy and not user friendly. Yikes!!! Headache 🤦🏻♂️
By far the worst bank out there
So many issues and too many to name from horrible security, bad customer service, many many issues with card controls (ex. NOT BEING ABLE TO ACTIVATE CARDS) is infuriating and actually makes me want to walk to my nearest bank close out all my accounts. Fix and contact me asap or I’ll take matters into my own hands. :)

Good luck getting a hold of anyone not to mention everything is ran by email so it takes forever. Don’t open a bank account here.

Card controls
I don’t know if it’s just my app but the card controls option is broken!!! Sometimes I lock my card and when I go to unblock it, it tells me there are no active cards or sometimes I try to unfreeze my card and it doesn’t let me. Please fix this!!! It’s an inconvenience for me I have to rely on my other banks to make purchase while I have to make time to call customer service to keep unlocking my cards to use!!!

Authentication is a pain
I appreciate the extra security but while I have no issues using the iPhone app, as I added the same to my iPad, authentication/verification via call and text feel mostly like a bad joke in poor taste. In short, I have not been able to get in through the iPad because of the poor system in place. This is a must fix.

Constantly updating
They update the system very often which affect us from using the app! It’s annoying, they don’t take some hours to fix it, sometimes they do take more than 2 days. 😞
Zogo
Started adding Zogo advertisements in the Meriwest app. no option to disable advertisements or even acknowledge and move on. If this is needed, send it out in the monthly statements or emails, but not in the app. My two cents.
Mobile check deposit is broken
January 2024 was the last time I was able to process checks without issue with Meriwest Mobile Deposit. Starting February some checks, when scanned, return an error message. Since then I have spent countless hours on the phone with support, memorized the hold melody, and can recite the hold message by heart, and yet all the support was able to provide is an advice to go to the branch to process these checks.

I enjoy this app, because anything you need to do at the bank. You could do it on this application and for that I am very grateful because I am always on the move.
