It took me a while to figure out why I couldn’t respond to group messages, being a basic app it was frustrating it was that difficult to get working on an iPhone. End to end encryption (Beta) broke my app and was fixed once I finally figured out I needed to turn it off. Should be off by default.
No AI please
It's fine if you want to "offer" the option of suggested replies to Messages but it's a breach of my rights as a consumer that I can't turn this off, especially given the costs of these devices. Is this my reward for upgrading to iOS 27 in good faith?

Recommend updates
Extend the time limit to unsend a message atleast from 5-10 minutes AND add sub folders into photos, it would help organize things better. Please and thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Messages USED to have ‘fun photos’, where you could make your photos and videos “tinted” (they’re not really tinted, but you get my drift). Now they don’t have it, and I don’t have a photo editing app, so I can’t do fun photos.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😖😭😭PLEASE BRING FUN PHOTOS BACK!!!!!!

the sensitive warning
Whenever i'm calling someone,that person could be my friend,my sister, my dad , OR EVEN MY BOSS. I was meant to get a raise but he lowered me down because he thought i ended the call,this is Just horrible. It also says that SINCE I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE I CAN CONTACT SOMEONE. LIKE HELLO? who are you to tell me how i feel and it also does that warning for when my friend or whoever I'm calling when there camera is Literally OFF,🤨🤦🏽♀️ 1 STAR RATING , don't get the app, instead get Whatsapp is wayy better you may even find me again in the 5star rating column on WhatsApp so check that app out, don't even bother thinking to get this app

The nude thingy
Every single time im on a call with my friend , she is eeither quiet or not doing anything and then all of a sudden thw call ends and a thing that says she has shown nude things pops up like she never did. It has happened many times before . It happened to my job interview and i got fired from ir because they thought i ended thw call on them . This is utter madness and utterly ridiculous. It also says it even if my or thier camera was off . HONESTLY HORRIBLE. This is so dissapointing. 1 star

I have no idea what’s happening with the other reviews but I think their device is broken or something. When I use it, (my device is in perfect tune) it works fine (I’m iMessage)
Long lag when sharing photos
Extreme delays when trying to share a photo or screenshot. This wasn’t an issue until recently.

Better than google messages? Nope. Why can’t we archive messages? And why can’t we reply to RCS Android messages directly? If I had a choice I’d be using Google messages on Apple.

I tried to text my android phone friend but it won’t let me bc I got a new phone and can’t text one old phone to anyone with an android phone!😭

Photos disappeared
Obvious sent photos do not appear anymore in the conversations. All I get is a blank bubble where there should be a photo. Sometimes a heart emoji is displayed by the photo I obviously loved but now can’t see. Please fix
