Unfortunately I am NO Longer able to use the App!!! My phone is outdated….so I cannot update to the required iOS 😡😡😡
Very disappointing. I have used this app for YEARS!!! Now it is no longer an option!!!
The kiosk typically require coins or a credit card!!!
Who carries that many coins … quarters and who wants to stand Unaware of their surroundings at a kiosk????

Dumb usage
Makes you spin a dial instead of typing in the amount of time you want because PPA has to be difficult as usual.
Old account terminated for new but not improved app
Why did I have to create an account and start fresh!!??? Ran late to an appointment because I had to start from scratch. I hate the new spinning wheel and preferred the old aesthetic. We already hate the PPA enough.
Why?
They took a perfectly good approach and made it harder to use and login to. Why?
Wrong iOS
Can’t download the new app revision to my iPhone. Says I need iOS 17.0. I just downloaded the latest iOS from Apple. It’s iOS 16.7.13. What’s up with this?
Not backward compatible
I am unable to use the latest version of the app therefore I cannot use the app. One more way they’re squeezing people out of paying for their parking so they can write more tickets
$36 dollar ticket!!!
Got a $36, ticket! App is glitchy . I parked and paid amount the app told me to pay, it was the wrong amount, and I ended up getting a ticket. Reached out to customer service, they basically said, not our fault. Don’t use!
Sucks
This app sucks! You can’t extend until a session completely runs out. The spin wheel t set time is obnoxious and the payment never goes through first time. The app takes forever to load. Whoever created it is a clear downgrade from the previous app.
Faulty app $36 ticket
I always use meterup when parking in Philly. I parked and the app said I owed $1.52 , which I paid via ApplePay. I came back to my car to find a ticket, the app incorrectly calculated the time I needed to pay for. I reached out to support and received a response “ we are not responsible “. Do not use or trust this app unless you want a ticket. Another time I also received a ticket and had to fight with the city for 6 months

The updated rotary UI is excessive and dumb
First of all, paid parking is already a scam. But Multiple times I’ve “spun the wheel” for two hours but it only charges me for a minute. I think it’s on purpose to get people to pay more stingy fees
I paid and still was ticketed
So I had to add in a new license plate. Took a long time. App wasn’t cooperating. Had to do and do again several times. Finally it was added. Then I paid by Apply pay and got the Apple pay you’ve paid check mark. Great. Thought I was good to go. I was, after all the extra app delay hassles, running late. I put phone away and was off to my destinarían with the late arrival. Guest what? Even after the troubles, I still got a ticket! I guess the app wanted me to do the payment over and over again like the license plate add. Seriously? I can’t afford this ticket price and It’s should be MeterUp who is fined for what transpired! I did things right. I always try to do the right thing. Seems like App developers and municipalities really don’t care about actual humans. What transpired is unacceptable.

UI NIGHTMARE
The new update is awful. Let me just select how much time i need. The scroll wheel is ridiculous. Who thought this was a good idea 😂😂😂And it lags so much after payment is processed.

Randomly logged out after 3 years if using this app.... i swear this is a trick to get you to sign up with new emails/number
Sign in too complicated
Instead of letting me type in my password to sign in, this app is making me verify my account (that I’ve already verified and used previously) through an email link. Fine, whatever…except the email link never comes, even though they have my correct address. Not in my spam folder either. What a pain.

App randomly takes 30 or more seconds off of the paid for time
I have noticed in the last few weeks when paying for time say 30 mins, the time after checkout starts at 29:22. Why are they shortchanging the time?
App deleted my vehicle nicknames
It’s a great app, however, it updated without my knowledge and deleted all of my nicknames for my vehicles.
I am quite upset. Because now I can’t identify many of the vehicles on my list. And I had to walk downstairs this morning to get one of the license plates verified.
It’s not an issue to name the vehicles again through time, but it is just inconveniencing me.

Be careful it positions you to park at the wrong meter constantly
Be careful using the app. It will purposely locate you on the wrong side of the street and It will not notify you only 50% of the time when your meter is expiring. Make sure to triple check. Necessary evil in Philly seems to made to fail on purpose.
Should make CarPlay compatible
This app serves its purpose, which is paying for street parking in Philadelphia.
The developer should consider making this app Apple CarPlay compatible, this would be very helpful when parking.

Impossible to set up Visa card
The app seems to allow only to add PayPal or a ParkMobile wallet (imposing money deposit).

This app no longer works because it requires an email link to login making the app useless. Horrible way to implement 2FA.
