Too Hard to Log In
Security is the most important aspect of any app who’s primary function deals with finances. Because of this, savvy users use password managers to generate and store complex passwords. If an app won’t work with a password manager, users either give up or they create easy to remember, simple, reused passwords that compromise security. This app does not allow input from password managers nor does it allow paste. This design creates security risk. Can this be fixed, please?

Many flaws
Many of the gripes below are still valid, except for scheduling payments. They fixed that. However, scheduling payments is still an issue, when inputting the amount, for some reason it’s extremely difficult to move the cursor to the far right causing the payment amount to be read incorrectly. By default … the cursor should be at the far right so we can input payment amount without issue.
The app does its job, but it has the potential to be better. For some reason, if I open the app while listening to music, it automatically pauses the music. Why? Unless the app is gonna sing me my balance I don’t get why it interferes with a music app. You can’t schedule more than two payments in a week, and that includes payments made outside the app, which makes no sense to me. I should be able to schedule as many payments as my balance can afford. Last but not least, I should be able to redeem the gift cards in the app… but no, you have to wait for an email, and then add the card to your wallet and ensure it’s used before 90 days. Needs work.

Idea is there
Password function is the worst. Specially if you maximize the limits and have to deal with “account is temporary locked due to security reason” due to password function being glitched.
Incompatible with PW managers
Password managers do not function on this app. User’s are also unable paste passwords that have been copied from a password manager. There is no option to view the password after it’s been entered into the text field AND, if the user switches to another app to confirm the entered password is correct, all previously entered text is erased. Those aren’t security features, those are design flaws. This app is garbage! :) I’ll stick to the web UI, thanks. Maybe stop using cheap over seas labor and AI for your coding needs. Just say’n…

Constant Crashing
The app is currently crashing as soon as I log in. Trying to update my settings and every time I press my profile the app crashes.
Update broke my App
I was able to use the app prior to an update on 10/25 but now I can log in but when I click on make a payment it logs me out with an Oops error. I’ve reset my phone and it’s still happening. Please fix.
Don’t waste your time!
Frustrating log in process; you can’t see your password to verify if your fat fingers mis-typed. No notice by email or text that a statement is available; your first notice will be a “Late Payment” notice with associated “late fee.”
Cashback
It often feels as though the cashback system is designed in a way that makes it easy to miss out on rewards. Since the cashback notifications are only sent by email, it’s very easy to overlook them and lose your earnings. Because of this, I’ve decided to prioritize using other credit cards that offer more transparent and reliable cashback programs.

You’re site is poorly designed it doesn’t respond well to most everything. I would recommend you check out a new designer to see if it can even be fixed.
Finicky and on a progressive downturn.
After the revamp it’s very challenging to view available credit, and now it’s not possible at all. Clicking the link does nothing and there’s no way to report it. Extremely irritating.
Can’t pay
I’m trying to make payments and keep getting an error saying something went wrong and to try again later

Don’t get me wrong, the customer service is good, but the app is not. It’s not very “modernized” if thats the correct word; Its fairly clunky and un-polished. I’m sure it’s on set to become a better app experience, but as of now it isn’t. Please also be aware of bank information you put into this app for the auto payment, as it will draw funds out of “un-verified” accounts and then block your payments and reset your balance back to what it was. I wish it would have told me the routing info doesn’t exist instead of just letting “money” from “no-where” bring my payments down. Just be careful, the app isn’t polished.

Apple Wallet???
Got an email that said I could add my MilitaryStar card to my Apple wallet. Clicked on the link in the email and it sent me to the app. Can’t find anywhere on the app where it allows me to add the card to the Apple wallet. What gives?
App no longer works
Can’t even log in the app.
Really Screwed Up
Forgets your password, so you change it, then gives you an “Oops!” and won’t let let log in with the new password and keeps telling you to try again later. Just not worth the hassle. Use other cards; this one’s a mess.
Needs ALOT of work
Hey team let me tell you something, this app is a goat rope. The interface is about as user-friendly as a 1970s typewriter—it’s a fight just to type in the exact amount you want to pay. The overall appearance? Looks like it was designed during a mandatory fun day with zero oversight. And yet, every PX across the country has a booth pushing this card like it’s the second coming of the GI Bill. Hate to break it to you, but the presentation ain’t cutting it.
The developers of this app need to take a hard look at USAA or AMEX apps. Those folks understand what a functional and modern app should look like. This one? It gets the job done, but barely. Nothing more, nothing less. I’ve had this app for four years now, and let me tell you—there’s been zero improvement. Zero.
If this app were a piece of gear, I’d leave it in the arms room and forget about it. Get it together and make this thing look like it belongs in 2025, not the turn of the century.

Could be better
App is cool. It’s convenient but what would make this app SOOOO much better is the ability to use a debit card to make payments.
Love the Card, Hate the App
I’ve had this card since 2013, love it and i appreciate the new updated card design, but the app needs work. It’s simple and straight to the point but seems like the app is outdated and should take on the design and functionality of most major credit card companies.
