About

Mindful Prism is a private journal that helps you see your own mind clearly. White light enters a prism and comes out as colour. Your words do the same. Write what's on your mind, and Mindful Prism gently separates it into five lenses: • How you felt: the emotions in your words, including ones you may not have named • What came up: the themes running through your days • How you were thinking: patterns worth noticing, offered kindly • What matters to you: the values your entry reveals • Questions to sit with: reflections to carry forward, not homework ARRIVE BEFORE YOU WRITE Every entry can begin with a few breaths in a world that breathes with you: a lotus opening on an aurora-lit lake, the tide under a setting sun, cherry blossoms beneath a full moon, a candle under the Milky Way, and more. Choose a rhythm, or lead the breath with your own touch. Turn on nature sounds or a solfeggio tone if you like. At the end, give a worry to the world and watch it drift away. WRITE YOUR WAY Type, dictate a voice note, scan a page from your paper journal, or import a PDF. Choose Quick for a light look or Deep for all five lenses. Write as much as you need. When an entry is longer than one reading, Mindful Prism shows you exactly where the reading would stop, then lets you choose: read the first part, read all of it in Quick, or read it on Private Cloud. END IN STILLNESS Each reading closes with a short practice and a line to carry with you, so you leave calmer than you came. KEEP WHAT MATTERS If you choose to keep an entry, it becomes a Prism Print, a small piece of art made from its colors. Each month becomes a painting of your inner weather. Keep your latest reading close with one widget, in the style you like: a woven rug of your month, a postcard, crystals, sea stones, or drifting jellyfish. On the Lock Screen, Carry shows the line from your practice. YOURS ALONE • Reflections are written on your iPhone by Apple Intelligence. Your entries stay on it unless you choose otherwise. • Private Cloud, if you choose it: for longer entries, Apple's Private Cloud Compute can read a single entry for one reading. Apple doesn't keep it and can't access it. Off until you turn it on. • No account. No streaks. No notifications unless you ask for them. • Face ID lock. • Breath sessions can be saved to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes, only if you turn it on. Mindful Prism is a reflection tool, not a substitute for professional care. If you're struggling, the app can point you to people who can help. Requires an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence.

What's New in Mindful Prism

2.2

October 22, 2026

Write as much as you need. Mindful Prism now reads longer entries and shows you exactly where a reading would stop. Read deeper, only if you choose • New: Private Cloud, beside Analyze. Apple's Private Cloud Compute runs a larger model than your iPhone, so it reads much longer entries more closely. • It's off until you turn it on, after a plain-words explanation of what goes, who sees it (no one), and how to go back. • Apple includes a free daily allowance of readings. If it runs out, or Private Cloud can't be reached, your entry is read on your iPhone instead, and the notes say so. Longer entries, honestly • How much fits is now measured the way the model reads, so it holds in any language. • When an entry is longer than one reading, you see the last words that would be read and the first that wouldn't. Then you choose: read the first part, read all of it in Quick, or read it on Private Cloud. A quieter ending • A reading now ends on its practice and that practice's closing line, not on a button. • Keep is the one choice. Sharing the print waits quietly beneath it. • Prints you keep will always look the way they did the day you kept them. Still yours • Your entries stay on your iPhone unless you choose Private Cloud for a reading. No account, no streaks, no nagging notifications.
