Straightforward to use, no need to worry about coins or machines. Used MiPermit for several for years and would recommend.
What?
I’ve never known a n app with so many paradoxes. Asks you to register and won’t allow a password, if you ask for a reset sends a message telling me I’ve asked for a reset. Well, I knew that already. You’re just locked into a spiral of repetitive and pointless activity.

Limited functionality
The MiPermit app is fine for activating permits for visitors, but it’s not possible to pay for new books of permits which is frustrating.
Apple Pay missing
Why not have Apple Pay and paypal??
Gets stuck
Unable to proceed beyond the Yes/no for +£0.10 on the select time screen. No way to proceed regardless of which button you click. Ended up paying outside the app. Annoying waste of time. It only has to do one thing and it doesn’t do it.
Fail
Try to change car on it twice and end up paying three times. !
The app works - poor UI design
The app works. Never have an issue with that. However, and I am fully aware that the UI has been designed in this way, that when you scroll down to pay, you end up scrolling to pay for maximum amount of parking.
If you were in a rush, not diligent, or maybe struggle with technology, this could very easily catch you out. So be aware! And UI designer - naughty naughty.

Awful app to use!
This app is difficult to use and navigate, buying extra permits doesn’t work properly, there has to be an easier way to get ID to stay on the site, and you are never sure if you have actually brought parking vouchers because there is a long delay between paying and receiving the vouchers!
It’s seems that it’s easier to get a subscription to a 18+ gambling or porn website than it is to get parking permits to park outside your own home!

Passive aggressive customer service
Not at all intuitive to use. Long delay to process transactions without notice that that will be the case. If you fail to upload the right documentation to prove that you live where you say you do, thy just delete the whole transaction. Passive aggressive woman in the phone. No response to email correspondence.

Makes life so easy!
I was very anti paying for parking this way……..but I was so very wrong, I just park, pay on the app, it’s remembered me now, so no need to keep putting in my details and I can even top up if work runs late…..love it!

Paid for the parking (with prove payment) still get ticket.
Basic oversight
Seven different parking apps on my phone and MiPermit’s developer are the only one that can’t figure out providing a receipt at time of purchase, instead requiring the user to remember to log back in the following day. Net result? Use a competitor app and car park instead.

This is rubbish when I try to find a road it is not reading it….! Newham council used this and do not have clear signs and will charge you a fortune to visit you old and sick parent!!!! App needs updating totally rubbish!!!
Complete Rip Off!
Broad street parking in Bath. Sign said electric cars would charged £1.90 for an hour, app charged me £5.40 with no option to identify or select my electric cars.
Also no option on the app for a query or to register as a new user. Absolute rubbish!

Mi Permit – clearly designed for collecting fees, not helping users.
Customer support seems to exist in theory only. One reply arrived after a long wait, solved nothing, and then complete silence. If you need actual assistance, don’t expect it. The app works well enough to take your money, but not well enough to support its users. Not recommended.
