New app much better but not perfect
The new app is MUCH better than the old one, but unlike the old one, I can’t turn off the sound. Please give us a way to turn off the sound!
Was great for a while
There is no longer a way to adjust settings, so alerts just blare out randomly and loudly now. That’s obviously not okay so had to remove it
Never ending tune
I used to love the sound of the Mister Softee truck. Unfortunate the app continually plays the tune and there isn’t a way to turn it off unless you lower your volume
Eww
Not only does the Mr Softee music play every time I open the app but it doesn’t even show me any trucks! I can only see trucks across the country while I hear the Mr Softee jingle from outside my window

I downloaded the app and it asked me for a bunch of different things. Yes, I understand the location allowing part but why does it need my motion cues??? That’s just kinda odd like honestly it’s weird too… Another thing that I noticed was that the app wouldn’t allow me to track the exact location that I was at even though I have my location on. I also tried refreshing and scrolling out of the app which did not seem to help at all so honestly just don’t waste your time on this app

Poor design
This app shows pins where a truck is nearby but when I click on that pin it gives no address. Ridiculous.
Mr softee has boundary issues
Always asking for my location and access to my devices- can’t take no for an answer. Every time I open the app the same pop up nags appear. No you don’t need my location info 24 hrs a day. Living up to creepy ice cream truck stereotypes.
Useless app
Inaccurate and doesn’t update. Drove around wasting gas for a truck that wasn’t there.

Don’t tell me a truck is nearby when it is in a whole different city. It would be much better if we could set a radius or have like a schedule or something, but I don’t need an app to send me a notification when a truck is nowhere actually near me.

Notifications & Pop-ups
Since the latest release, the app is TERRIBLE. I get constant notifications that a truck is near when there isn’t one close. I even got them on vacation in Mexico.
I also get multiple popups insisting that I give them access to Motion & Fitness, Always-On Location, etc.
NO MEANS NO. Stop harassing me every time I open the app.
Time to delete this trash. Too bad. I use to love it.

Excellent
It tells me exactly where it is at all times and notification’s me when it’s near although it would be a 5 if someway this app would connect to the ice cream van and we could ask the van to come to our home or go back to it because it takes me ages to get the money out and by the time I have it’s gone :(

Couldn’t turn off the sound!
Tried for a few minutes to turn off the sound. Slider all the way down, silent mode on phone, tried all the settings I could find. Have to be silent to avoid kids losing their minds when the truck isn’t nearby!

Why doesn’t the truck come on our street anymore?
The truck used to come down on our street every Saturday afternoon, but no longer does, even though I see and hear the truck on the next street. Why does t the truck go down our street any more? Who to contact to get the truck to go down Bothell Circle San Jose?

You guys serve great ice creams! I live on Greenwood in San Carlos and I never see you guys out here. I know you would make a killing as there are a lot of children always! Please come by our neighborhood more! Thanks and keep up the great work!
