Terrible experience
I used the app during a trip to Italy in July 2025 and added €75 to my account. I was unable to use the service and requested a refund in August 2025.
I provided all requested information, including my Wise bank details, and was told the refund had been submitted and would be completed within 30 days.
It is now May 2026, and I still have not received my money.
Customer support kept sending generic responses for months and eventually stopped responding completely. Extremely disappointing experience.

The app is hard to navigate and does not help you get from A to B.

Cannot get Account
Don’t waste your time trying to get an account. The process fails out for foreigners whether from the app or from the mobile website. The app just gives an error box. The website lets you pick the US country code (1), but the shows an American flag next to the code 39.

I requested a refund for my remaining balance months ago, but never received it. My deposited credit and parking history disappeared from the app. Support is not responding anymore.
Peu intuitif et impossible de récupérer le solde de son compte
Contrairement à EasyPark, on est obligé d’alimenter son compte par tranche de cinq euros. Et lorsque vous n’avez plus besoin d’utiliser l’application, il est impossible de récupérer le solde puisque personne ne répond aux mails. On est à la limite de l’arnaque.

Delay in processing payment
Tried to top up credit to pay for parking, didn’t appear in my account for 48 hours. Totally useless.

I downloaded the app to pay for parking in Sardinia. Unfortunately, I could not create an account. I wasted over an hour trying to create an account. Other people trying to pay for parking were having a similar experience at the same time.
We were late for our activity and nearly missed our tour. The local tour guide was eventually able to create an account from her phone with her credentials and helped us pay for the parking for the day.
I tried to create the account with different email addresses and phone numbers but nothing worked. I received error messages that said I couldn’t use my phone number because it was already in use. But when I tried to request a password reset the error message said I didn’t have an account.

Ist eine einzige Katastrophe!
Ständig der halbe Bildschirm belegt von dem Hinweis dass man außerhalb des Gebietes ist. JA, ICH WEISS ES!!! Ich erwarte auch nicht unbedingt, dass die App auf deutsch ist, aber wenigstens eine wirklich komplette englische Version wird doch wohl möglich sein. Nein, Italien ist nicht der Nabel der Welt!

Unreliable App – Tickets Didn’t Work, No Refund Given
I had a very frustrating experience with the MooneyGo app in Rome. I purchased 3 tickets online, but when I tried to use them at the Repubblica metro station, the QR codes did not work at the turnstile . Despite showing proof of purchase and trying to resolve the issue, I received no support and was denied a refund.
This is unacceptable for a transportation app meant to make travel easier. The lack of accountability and customer service is disappointing. I strongly advise others to be cautious when using this app, especially if you’re depending on it for time-sensitive travel.

scam - tickets won’t work
The tickets won’t work, customer service answered me after 3 months. Don’t waste your money it’s just a scam.

Rome ATAC is not ready for this app
The app needs internet connection and many ATAC metro stations do not have it. Also there are only limited number of entrances allowing the use of this app. When they are not working, I need to get inside “illegally” from the exits.
