Not Bad, Not Great
We were stuck with which camera monitor to buy and found the Motorola on a really good deal, especially with app capabilities.
The app is okay, functionally sound and works almost every time, but lacks a few finer touches.
Picture-in-picture live viewing would be helpful as I often use the app when cooking and switching between apps is a total pain.
Motion detection clips are often too short for me to really check on what my baby was up to, or are triggered by absolutely nothing at all - similarly with the sound detection.
Temperature can fluctuate wildly from what the room thermostat reads, I’ve had the app tell me it’s 25 degrees, whilst my thermostat says it’s 21.
Connectivity to the camera can also be spotty, even when I’m in the same room, and I’ve had to close and reopen the app several times in order for the connection to reestablish.
Overall I’d say the app is good and does what it needs to do but just those few issues that stop me from leaving 5*.

Terrible app
The camera itself is great, but the app is terrible. It’s glitchy and more often than not says my camera is offline when it’s not. My husband will be looking at the monitor, on and working, while my phone says that the camera is offline. If a decent mobile app is something you want with your nursery camera then go with a different one. If you just want the camera/monitor then it’s great!

Music volume
I’m no longer able to adjust sound volume from my phone . This just started happening I don’t see an option for music or stories . Also the camera shuts off every now and then.
Fine at best.
It is ok. When you are on a live view it’s good at best. When you’re not? It’s a 1/5. The camera quality isn’t good. Even though I pay for the subscription the clips are incredibly short. They are grainy. For some reason it demands access to your entire camera roll to save photos/videos which is wild. Every other app you can either limit access, or use “private access” where you can see them but they aren’t shared. Why does Motorola want to access 50k photos from the last 15 years of every moment of my life for me to download a clip? It’s insane. Just feels like the app is from 2005 and not catching up to the rest of us in 2026.
