You have to click start on every goddamn workout. It does not flow. You literally have to stop and hit next and play. This is ridiculous. No wonder why it’s on sale for $10.

I really enjoyed this app until 2025. It became difficult to take the program seriously with how increasingly sloppy it was prepared each week. Paired with all the typos and the revelation of the whole white “Christian” nationalist thing.. I’ve happily taken my business elsewhere.
This app is perfect for a home gym rat.
I love using this app to do my workouts. It is extremely helpful to have a variety of exercises and modifications to be able to stay motivated and to get a solid workout for each area of the body. I like not having to come up with my own workouts, however, these can be modified or exercises can be exchanged in order to fit my needs or motivation for the day. The video clips are a nice touch to see how to perform the exercises and to use correct form. I find this app to be extremely well rounded for workouts.

The Best
I have been using this app/workout plan for over a year now and it's been the best investment into myself. A year ago I set a goal for myself...no missed workouts for an entire year. I hit that goal today, which made it the perfect day to give a review on this app. It's very stable, I've never had issues with it crashing or experiencing errors. It’s intuitive and easy use, everything you need is right there including your history, form tips, alternative exercises, additional rounds, exercise notes and custom workouts. I love the calendar that tracks your workouts - flipping that dot from red to green is motivating for me. The workouts are challenging and achievable in a small gym area (my home gym is 10'x10') with minimal equipment (a set of dumbbells, exercise bands, a bench and a mat). And, the best part is I don't have to plan my workouts, I start the workout for the day and record my weights and reps - it's like having a personal trainer! Julie keeps all the workouts and exercises fresh so you never get bored. In this last year of consistently working out with this app I've lost 54lbs and I'm at the same weight I was in my 20's. I love this app and the workouts, I highly recommend it!

I am loving this app! She did such an incredible job on it. it’s so easy to use & the workouts are so good. They offer a great variety of movement while challenging me but not being impossible. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic App!
I have been using this app for 3 months now and I love it. The app itself it well laid out, easy to navigate and has some fun features like counting how many pounds you've moved in a workout! The workouts are well balanced, have multiple options depending on how much time you have and are more than reasonable to do at home with minimal equipment and space! I'm a physiotherapist and I normally pick at other peoples workouts- I have no complaints about Julie's workouts!

Perfect at home workouts
I was looking for workouts I could do in the comfort of my own home whenever I had time. I found Julie on Instagram and was intrigued by her at home dumbell workouts so I decided to download her app. This app is absolutely amazing. It’s simple to follow along and log your workouts. There is no thinking involved, all your workouts are laid out for you, you just need to do them, how much better can it get. I have never been more consistent or seen better results than I have since starting this program. Thanks Julie and Josh for the wonderful app and amazing workouts!

SO worth it!
This is the only program I have stuck with for any amount of time. I struggle with consistency and decision fatigue. This program takes the decision-making out of the equation… you just log on and complete the workout scheduled for the day.
If decision making is your thing, you can also choose a different workout or customize your workout completely. I just need someone to tell me exactly what to do and when, and this app does that for me!

Loving this app!
I’ve been using this app for about 2 months and I am truly loving it, and feel like I am already seeing/feeling results. I have always been into exercising but often felt myself struggling with structure and would end up doing random workouts/whatever I felt like doing that day. This app has it all planned out for you. The workouts are challenging but not too difficult to where you’d want to quit/skip working out. I mostly do the 30 minute workouts, and if I’m only able to exercise 3-4 times per week I will just do two days work in one session. The alternatives and minimal equipment make it easy to have no excuses! I’m thankful for this app for giving me guidelines and helping me stay consistent.

The best workout app and community!
I’m a 45yo single mom trying to keep up with my kids and build a strong body. I have tried many different apps and programs and even had a personal trainer at a gym at one point over the past 5 years. None of them stuck. I always got bored or unmotivated because I wasn’t seeing results. I have been using Julie’s workouts now for 6 months and am thrilled to report that I consistently workout 5x a week! The app is so easy to use, the workouts are challenging but not impossible, the community is super supportive and helpful, I can go on raving. I started out lifting with 5lb dumbbells and struggling lol and am now up to 20lbs and feeling strong. The well designed app and workouts are to credit for my progress and I look forward to being in the best shape of my life as I continue building strength!! You will not regret starting on this workout journey!!!

I’ve only had the app for almost two weeks, I have Peloton Bike+ and Peloton Tread. Although I thoroughly enjoy my Peloton equipment and classes, Movement with Julie has given me a different focus and form of workouts. I do have difficulty calculating the weight to log but that’s just my poor math lol - The app itself is very well designed and I highly recommend it!

This is THEE plan
I tried Julie’s workouts because I came across them on Pinterest and they seemed to incorporate what I was looking for. Instagram has small segments so I ultimately joined another (cheaper) program since I wasn’t sure if I was gonna stick to this routine.
I quickly became bored with the workouts offered in the other program and tried MWJ.
EXACTLY what I wanted. Love how I feel after her workouts- always an assortment that challenges me and lots of alternative options, and great logging to be able to easily see your growth.

Highly recommend!
Never been so consistent or successful with a workout app platform before this one! Been at it for awhile now and by far this is the best one I have found! The newest update is amazing and the ones that are going to be coming up, I am sure will make it even better. My favorite workout!
I searched for months to try to find the best workout for me and I am so happy I stumbled across MWJ. I love that I can do this at my own pace versus having to keep the same pace as the instructor. Between doing this, eating more protein, and walking every day, I’m down 30 lbs thus far. I cannot thank Julie enough for creating this program and community!
