Excellent Videos Poor Workouts

The content here is really great in terms of explaining how all the pieces of your body work together. I have been a member off and on now for about three years and they have done nothing to improve the actual app to make it easy to work out. It’s a PDF file with how many reps and sets. In 2025 but most people need our workout routines where I don’t have to think too much. Just make a workout video I can follow along. You guys are excellent at recording content so turn it into a workout routine that’s easy to follow. And I’ve heard it before where you guys defend this by saying well how many reps and how many sets really depends on each person. But you can build in a self assessment at the end of four weeks let’s say and if you can’t do the following things then go back and repeat.

PFPT

Their educational videos for PFPT are great but there isn’t enough workout videos for the $99 a year. They recommend back and core but then it should be included in that price. Again the education is great but not enough follow along exercise videos for the price.

Rude and unhelpful support

This is the first review I’ve ever written, but I’m genuinely disappointed. I downloaded the MoveU app and liked the concept, but the instructions are sometimes unclear especially when it comes to understanding your postural alignment, which they say is the foundation for all the exercises. I couldn’t figure out my pelvic positioning even after watching all the videos and reading the support pages. After a few weeks of trying, I booked the free 10-minute call they offer, clearly stating that I needed help with alignment so I could actually use the program properly. Here’s how they advertise the call: “Free Intro MoveU COACHING Call. We’ll be diving into your pain areas, movement goals, and whether MoveU is the right fit for you. Be ready to chat about what’s been holding you back so we can help you move forward!” Naturally, I thought I’d get clarity on a very basic but important part of the program. Instead, I was abruptly interrupted and told the call is “only for non-members,” even though I had clearly submitted my question when I booked. When I mentioned I had just canceled my membership because I couldn’t figure out this one thing, I was told the founder offers that kind of support - but charges hundreds/thousands (the number kept changing). When I pointed out that she could’ve told me this before accepting the call - she brushed it off, saying, “I get 100 calls a day,” as if my time didn’t matter at all. The whole interaction felt cold, dismissive, and honestly rude. I wasn’t asking for private coaching - just a quick pointer on something foundational to the program. It would’ve taken one minute. But I was shut down mid-sentence and told, “we don’t need to convince people to join.” If that’s the approach they take to paying customers who are just trying to get value from the product, then I can’t recommend this app. It’s a shame - great idea, but terrible support and a really cold attitude toward people trying to make it work. Not worth it.

Response from developer

Hi Alexa, From the beginning, we tell our new members to introduce themselves in the community so our coaches can offer their support. That's where the magic happens. That's where coaching happens. We don't leave our members on their own to 'figure things out'. While the Zoom call you're talking about is with a coach, we clearly say that it is "to discuss pain areas, movement goals, and whether MoveU is the right fit for you." We get that you didn't know this and we're sorry we didn't realize you were a member until the call began, but when our coach explained that coaching is all done in app, you wanted us to make an exception for you. We didn't feel it would be fair to our members who actually use the program as designed to coach you in this way and yes, that is exactly what you were asking for. As we've said to you before, you may desire someone right next to you - and we get it. That just means MoveU is NOT the right fit for you and that's okay. But to claim that we neglected to support you within our support system is false. You just didn't use it. And the prices of Dr. Mike's 1:1 experiences didn't 'keep changing'. There were just two different prices based on them being one day or two day events. Again, we wish you the best - whether that's continuing with us or in your search for a personal trainer/coach.

Highly recommend!

I have been enjoying these programs so much! I have always been active, but working on correcting my spine alignment and anterior pelvic tilt is making such a difference already. My breathing while running feels better and l have been able to run faster. I am more connected to my core and feel muscles engaging that have been neglected from poor posture. Seriously just try it! You won’t regret it.

Highly recommend!

I have been enjoying the program SO much (working through pelvic floor and back/core so far)! I have always been active, but working on correcting my spine alignment and anterior pelvic tilt is making such a difference already. My breathing while running feels different in a good way and I have been able to run faster. I am more connected to my core, and feel muscles engaging that have probably been neglected just about my whole life from poor posture/mis-alignment. I am gently nudging all the women in my life to try it out.
