What's New Scam Scanner – Share from Gallery You can now share images directly from your photo gallery to Scam Scanner for analysis — making it even easier to check suspicious content without switching apps. Open any photo in your gallery, use the share menu, and select Scam Scanner to get an instant verdict. Note: Scam Scanner is currently in Beta. You'll notice a Beta label on the Quick Action tile. Important updates: Fixed a critical issue where a failed image upload in Scam Scanner would leave the app in a broken state — retry now works correctly and users are no longer stuck on a "something went wrong" screen. Content Filtering / Family Protection now re-enables automatically after VPN is turned off. Improvements: Scam Scanner UX now has better UX Late-bound customization strings are now loaded more efficiently, improving startup performance for operator-customized builds. Bug fixes: Dark mode background for Scam Scanner no longer glitches. Scam Scanner notification text is now correctly localised. Scam Scanner no longer continues analysing after a user rejects and re-selects an image. Scam Scanner info page now displays correctly when there is no network connection. The "Connect to Local Service" section is now visible and displayed as expected. Fixed VPN status showing OFF in the main view while showing ON in the feature view and notification bar. Fixed erratic hero card behaviour when reconnecting to VPN. Fixed VPN protocol switching issue where toggling between WireGuard and Hydra resulted in an incorrect connection status. VPN toggle no longer bounces back to OFF when attempting to configure a connection. Fixed incorrect PIN state shown during onboarding. Fixed child user still seeing Safe Browsing related text in Safari. Ad block counter now updates correctly on iOS 18 devices. Generic error popup message now matches design specifications. Phone number entry keyboard no longer stops appearing after being dismissed multiple times. Extension logs are now downloaded correctly alongside app logs. Fixed an issue where the app could get stuck on the loading screen during account creation.
