Wallet Backup Update

Before you update this wallet it lets you in for a millisecond and then closes down. When you update your wallet you will have a zero balance unless you were smart enough ‘The First’ time to create a backup if not all your funds will be lost.
It’s a ‘great self custody online wallet’ yet they forget to tell you this part.
The developers are quick to solve the issues for you.
I completely rewrote my review to reflect the outcome.

If something happened to your funds, we'd like to help you understand what occurred. Please write to us at support@muun.com with the details, and we'll do our best to look into it with you. We'd also like to clarify something important: Muun is a fully self-custodial wallet. This means that only you hold the keys to your funds, and only you can move them. Muun has no access to your Bitcoin at any point and cannot move it, freeze it, or take it from you.

Not True Lightning Address

This app waxes Lightning Network users with very high fees by doing ‘high priority submarine swaps’ which increase the size of the transaction on-chain ( instead of using Lightning Network) and costng the user 10-20 times greater in fees when they could save that by just using the normal on chain network during low traffic to make their transfer.

The future

This is the best wallet that I have found to transact with bitcoin on a daily basis. They are on the right track for expanding adoption as simplicity is key.

Customer help

Asked for advice and support. Got a reply within a few hours. I’m still not 100% sure how the emergency kit works. Would be a good idea to have a video explaining exactly how it works and how to use it in an an emergency.

Slow Payment When Sending Out Funds

It’s a pretty cool app tho !
But work on your slow payment issues it’s took whole hour for a transaction to be completed

Top-notch wallet

Excellent wallet that never changes and therefore never breaks. Loaded with all the right features and incredibly stable over the years. Highly recommended.

Literally the best BTC-only wallet.

They cover the fee most of the time and also do submarine lightning swaps for free, depositing the entire transaction amount with no Onchain fee. This is the best wallet for Bitcoin. A bit of a unique and somewhat odd recovery key system but if you can get passed it like I did for the benefits it’s great. I just have one wish which is the option of single sig more control, private keys, etc. But great app.

Scam app

The recovery tool that they presume so much doesn't work my account has 10000 sats to which it won't let me access from the app it throws me an error and I try with the recovery tool it says 0 I don't understand this app is scam
