About

I live with ulcerative colitis, and I built My IBD Tracker because the app I needed didn’t exist. It’s designed for Crohn’s, colitis, or any IBD — to help you log what you eat, track how you feel, and finally see the connections between the two. NEW: SYMPTOM REPORTS FOR YOUR APPOINTMENTS I added this feature after struggling to summarise months of symptoms in a ten-minute consultation. Generate a clean, clinical PDF covering up to a full year of your data — bowel movements, cramps, stress and energy — so you can walk into your next IBD appointment with the full picture, not just what you remember from the last bad week. Configure the date range and detail level, and share or print it however’s useful. LOG FOOD & DRINK Record meals, snacks and drinks in seconds. Save favourites and recent items for one-tap re-logging, and tag anything with custom trigger labels — dairy, spicy, processed, high fibre, alcohol and more — fully editable to match your own diet. TRACK SYMPTOMS IN DETAIL Bowel movements logged against the Bristol Stool Scale, with urgency and blood indication. Cramps recorded by pain level and location. Fatigue and its impact on your day. Nothing generic — built specifically for IBD. DAILY CHECK-IN A single daily entry captures the context that shapes your symptoms: day type (normal, holiday, sick), location (home, office, travel), stress level and energy level. Spot whether travel, work stress or a change in routine is really behind a flare. A reminder notification means you won’t forget. SEE THE PATTERNS The Patterns view overlays energy and stress on your symptom trends, and breaks down bowel movements, cramps, energy and stress by day type, location and individual trigger — including same-day and next-day comparisons, so you can see delayed reactions, not just immediate ones. QUICK-LOG WIDGETS View today's summary, add a meal, snack, drink, bowel movement, cramp or daily check-in straight from your Home Screen or Lock Screen — no need to even open the app. YOUR HISTORY, ORGANISED Browse any day to see every entry on one timeline alongside your daily check-in summary, so you always have the full picture before an appointment. A REFRESHED LOOK My IBD Tracker now shares a consistent look and feel with the other apps I build — cleaner, calmer, and more consistent throughout. I built this for myself first, with full control to customise trigger lists, defaults and categories to match real life. If something’s missing, confusing, or could work better for you, I genuinely want to hear about it — this app grows from real feedback, not guesswork. And if it’s helped you make sense of your IBD, a review means a lot and helps other people managing the same thing find it too.

What's New in My IBD Tracker

1.1

July 8, 2026

This update is built around one thing I needed myself: something to bring to my IBD appointment that actually shows what the last few months have really been like. NEW: SYMPTOM REPORTS Generate a clean, clinical PDF summary of your bowel movements, cramps, stress and energy — covering up to a full year of data. Choose your date range and what to include, then share or print it before your next appointment. I built this because I was tired of trying to summarise months of symptoms from memory in a rushed ten-minute consultation — I hope it saves you that same scramble. DAILY CHECK-IN REMINDER A notification now nudges you to complete your daily check-in, so the gaps in your data are fewer and the patterns you see are more reliable. REFRESHED LOOK AND FEEL My IBD Tracker now shares a consistent design with the other apps in my suite — cleaner, calmer, and more polished throughout. ADDITIONAL WIDGETS View todays summary stats as a medium widget, or new large widget with both today's summary and log options. This app started as something I built for myself, and it keeps improving because of people like you telling me what’s missing or what could work better. If you’ve got feedback, a suggestion, or something that’s frustrating you, please get in touch — I read every message. And if My IBD Tracker has genuinely helped you get a handle on your symptoms, a review helps more than you’d think, both for me and for the next person searching for something like this. Thank you for using it.
