Poor app and execution
Prebooked appointment, waiting ages for the doctor to attend, then last minute they cancel and this has happened several occasions
Great insurance, mediocre GP
Since day one, I’ve found my AXA health insurance to be comprehensive, provide excellent service and really pay out and support when it matters. I wouldn’t consider moving away from them and believe that they offer the best healthcare I have found so far. However, they subcontract Doctor Care Anywhere for their virtual GP service who doesn’t live up to the same standards. I have had 3 appointments now, to which it is evident clinicians simply read off a screen with no actual input in decisions and feel very little empathy. I feel the system is also broken and it’s difficult trying to find a GP sometimes, with an emphasis on Advanced Health Practitioners which you wouldn’t expect from a private service. I definitely wouldn’t pay separately for this service as my alternative GP service GP24 through my employer and Bupa through my bank account are substantially better.

I can’t log in for love nor money!
I agree with the previous reviewer. This is massively over complicated system that makes it a headache to log in. Also I keep getting a message saying that I’m trying to log in as a doctor, which is nonsense, and to log in on the website but when I try that it times out? Really frustrating.
