I have asthma and I live in a very lush area. It really helps with controlling allergens in the air. I don’t suffer so much since I have allergies all year round 🙄🙄. 10/10 I recommend!!!!
Mobile app
The mobile app doesn’t work and hasn’t worked in quite some time.
Products are great, but the App is a failure point
I’ve been using the product and app for 6 months now. My original review was 1 star and I stand by that review. The products themselves are great, but the app is just not functional. I’ll give it to them, at least I can log in and remotely control my purifier now! But generally the data is inaccurate and I don’t trust it. It never seems to reflect consecutively accurate numbers. Not to mention the filter intelligence doesn’t make sense. It will change my install date based on if the app crashed or I logged out and back in.
So use this app to remotely control your device and that’s it. Write down when you installed your filter elsewhere or it’ll give you incorrect replacement information. *and yes Miko support I always update to the newest version.

Update!
5/20/26-My purifier and app are
working very well now.
At first I had problems connecting the app, the developer was very helpful in resolving all of the issues.
5/11/26-just did the second update since I had this app and I still cannot Sign in with Apple. PLEASE FIX THIS!!
5/7/26- Still no solution! I emailed you, as requested.

Just downloaded the app and I chose to Sign in with Apple account, however I can’t sign into the app because it’s asking for a password and an email, why???

I have noticed a difference in the freshness the filter provides in my home.
Great Hardware, Frustrating App Experience
My purifier itself is a well-built, high-quality device. However, the app has several issues that render the app nearly useless.
To start, the historical and real-time air quality data does not match the graphs. For example, the data may show the average outdoor air quality as “3,” but the graph shows the outdoor air quality remained over 40.
Secondly, all of my air quality data is lost every time I log out of the app or after there is an app update. It’s as if I just set up my air purifier for the first time every time I have to sign back into the app.
Thirdly, there is a bug where the screen turns blank and crashes frequently. I have to force close the app and reopen it again quite often.
To summarize, the data tracking features are unusable and illogical. The only usable feature of this app is to be able to control your device remotely. I love my air purifier hardware, but this app is a major disappointment.

Unusable app
Inability to connect to Wi-Fi. Endless loop as others have described. This app is also incredibly invasive asking for exact geo location, and unlimited access to both WiFi and Bluetooth settings. The reality is if these functioned like headphones, the purifier could send Bluetooth signals without any permissions besides limited connectivity to Bluetooth. All it does is measure pollution and give a rating out of 5. Does not require an app. A color coded light is how old technology like this use to work. It’s blatant data harvesting.

User friendly, seamless connectivity, and clean UI
App works great. It is fast, stable, clean, and doesn’t contain unnecessary clutter. My only “complaint” is that I wish there was an option to set the fan speed of my air purifier to a specific percentage instead of just “Fast, Medium, Slow.” Otherwise, I have nothing to remark about.
Horrible once again!
I had reviewed this a few months ago. Considering the app was totally broken. They emailed me back and said that it had been fixed, and if I could edit my review. Of course, until giving it a good amount of time, nobody should ever do that. And I’m glad I didn’t. I woke up this morning to the app being pretty much totally unresponsive. It says I don’t have an account, but if I try to re-register, it says it’s there. These people really need to get their act together. Thankfully, the product is good. It’s just the app that is just horrendous!! 😡

As of march 2026 the app has been fixed and now connects to the system with easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend this brand

I haven’t been able to connect my device to my phone for almost a year.
I bought this last summer, it initially connected to my phone, and since an update to the app it’s been unable to connect. I’ve tried every time there is a new update. It just always says something about failing to add BLE device. Terrible.

Best air cleaner ever
I’m blown away at how advanced and effective this air cleaner is. It’s extremely helpful to have the app in order to see all the different data regarding air quality.
Login issues
Bought the filter a year ago. Great. Trying to log in during the recently due to the dry air and cannot even log in to the app……like this is suppose to be easy.

I received a response from the app developers indicating that they responded to my earlier comment on login issues.
I successfully logged in and I appreciate their response and communicating with me.

App is pure trash. Your update did not take!!!!
My review of the app has not changed. It still sucks big time. I have deleted the app and reinstalled several tone and still nothing works. I don’t know who or what kind of update you did but you better keep working on it.
Products are great, but the App is a failure point
I’ve reached out multiple times to their support line to the point that I have a direct email chain with their support and developer team. Although they are nice and responsive I’ve continued to be kicked back and forth with temporary fixes and bandaid solutions. I’ve had problems with log in, device connectivity issues, and had functionality options completely disappearing from the app (ex. setting schedule). I’ve updated to each new version they release and follow all their instructions for which yes it will work, but how long. Almost every version fix will then suddenly revert to not working or have a new issue within a few days. My patience has run its course and as someone in the tech support industry it’s concerning to see how often they need to release version fixes, almost weekly!!! I’m considering returning my product (air purifier IBUKI 2.0) since its functionality is linked with the app. I love their actual products so this is really disappointing. I already have the range product Ibuki L and will have to stick with the range products only. The smart upgrades products are just not worth it if the app continues in this direction.

App sucks
App sucks keeps crashing even after deleting it and redownloading it several times. Tried multiple ways to sign in and still can’t. Device itself is good but app is trash! Devs need to work on it.
Updated- app is decent.
So apparently there must have been down time or an outage when I first tried to set up the Ibuki+ because I couldn’t log in but now it seems to be working. Connection was fairly easy. The app provides decent control options and some basic info.
App has stopped working
App was not loading Home Screen for several days so tried logging out and now can’t log back in. Tried resetting password (which appeared to be successful) but still can’t login to the app. This is what happens when you require an app for everything but companies don’t put any effort into actually making things work.
