Could be better
My wife and I recently had an experience with MWHC that left us concerned.
While there are clearly providers who care and want to do the right thing, the system itself feels strained. It often seems like staff are overworked and expected to manage too many patients at once, which can impact the quality of care and communication.
We also felt that when concerns were raised, they were not acknowledged in a meaningful way. That lack of accountability and transparency makes it difficult to feel confident as patients.
We hope MWHC continues to support its staff better and prioritizes patient care and communication moving forward.

Outstanding visit
Great asset
Very handy while an inpatient. Able to get test results quicker so that I can get questions answered sooner. Also great for outpatient too.

It’s nice when yet another place you you need to deal with has an app that is worth the downloading. The MWHC app makes it so easy to use and getting results from test, getting scheduled appointments. It’s the all in one app for all things dealing with your health in the Mary Washington network.

My Chart is Black Hole
No one ever responds to messages on My Chart, I have to follow up a week later with a phone call. Not sure what the advantage is there.

One snag
It would be more user friendly if users could navigate throughout the app without having to log back in to look at a different part of the file. Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
Convenient and easy to use
MyChart is a great way for me to track and stay on top of my health and healthcare. I enjoy using it. It’s easy to use. Like that I can communicate with my providers for questions, script refills and scheduling appointments. It’s also convenient for bill payment. Love it!
Very unimpressed
Dr’s are fine. Everyone else is questionable. Went to the ER and parked in the parking garage. After hobbling up the hill and to the front desk someone finally asked if I wanted a wheel chair (wheel chairs need someone to push them, huge front window in front of the ER and no one came to assist). Nurse after my surgery got snippy with my wife when asked a question about home care. For physical therapy I was given a number to call. Goes straight to mailbox for return call. No one ever called back after three calls from me. Another apartment was canceled. Still needed to connect on Internet for them to tell me someone would call to reschedule. No one ever called back. Urgent care seems like a way better alternative

Easy and convenient
This app is awesome. It keeps track of all of my appointments allows me to pay shows letters and messages and is an excellent way to keep track of all of my medical needs.
As Per Requested
My provider, Daniel Nicholas DO requested that I leave a poor review to encourage Mary Washington to make improvements to the app. So here’s the review. I don’t personally have a horse in this race, but he did have some interesting ideas for app improvements so ask him I guess.

This is the most confusing unhelpful website I’ve ever used. Trying to input a new insurance and remove an old one was awful as for anything else using this website. I refuse to let anyone know my location at all times as this site basically demanded of me that’s not happening just go check in. Ridiculous!

Everyone from receptionist to nurse and Np Joy. Very personable.
Easy to use and helpful
The app is practically just like the website but just incase it’s too weird to figure out, just use the website. It’s more of a simplified version of the online site.
