Strange, complicated, and unusable. It's not a real app, totally useless
No Good
It was supposed to be where I track my usage for my e-sim, but o can’t get past the two factor authentication screen, therefore, I am unable to track my e-sim usage.
Buyer beware
I purchased an internet only plan for my trip. I was never able to use it and was constantly given the runaround. Will not help you online, so make sure you’re ok with going to a physical store when you need help.

Company is okay; software is horrible
Vodafone itself is okay but the app works horribly on my iPad

New app you cant see how many days you have left on my prepaid data plan , why would you remove this from the app is just unacceptable
New terms of service that removes features
New terms of service require agreeing to use personal location and usage data and share this to third parties to use the app. This does not seem to comply with regulations in EU.

Yet, the Website is missing many features from the app such as Apple Pay and entering a custom payment amount. The website only allows payment of €5,15,25,37.50, no custom amounts.
The app does not allow secure 2-factor authentication such as TOTP.

Unusable after the most recent update
I used to love this app. It was easy to manage my home and mobile services. After the update the app rarely works and most times won’t even launch. When it does launch the features are hard to use (switch between services) and Apple Pay has been completely removed. If you’re not already a user, I wouldn’t bother using the app and just use the (not so great but better than the app now) web page.

New app is several steps back
The new version of the app seems to just be a redesign for a redesign’s sake, while making the app significantly slower to load and harder to use. Topping up my phone using Apple Pay is something that now takes 3-4 minutes with all the loading that happens (even on a 500Mbps connection), when previously this would take maybe 1 (already much longer than necessary). A lot of data is now only shown on a pop-up webpage and requires several taps to access.
The previous version of the app wasn’t “good”, but at least it worked. This new version is neither.

Wrong 2 factor auth
This app was working fine until April 2024. I did not use it for a while and now it is asking for a phone number for the two factor authentication. The problem is that the phone has to be a national phone number. I live in USA and I use this app to recharge the internet cards I buy when I come to Portugal. I cannot use this app anymore because it does not accept a US phone (where I have the app installed). This app might be the worst app I have used.

Worst telecom application
Never use Vodafone in Portugal. This is the worst telecom service provider I ever experienced in my life. You can’t login to their website, you can’t enter the application. This is a disaster and a shame for all your developers and support team.
