For a “luxury” brand can we please do better
This hardly works for such simple tasks. Can we please work on ensuring this thing works when it needs to?
Just getting worse
This app just keeps getting worse. It was terrible with my 2025 SQ5 even worse on my 2026 SQ5.
It’s doesn’t update the status of the car. Locking/unlocking is hit and miss.
Always produces connection errors.
Takes far too long to remote start the car.
If it’s not then it’s their backend software/servers that need fixing.
Either way, this apps functionality is terrible.
Audi, get your act together and hire good developers.

Absolute Trash. Premium Brand with Zero Service
I picked up my brand-new 2026 Audi Q3 on May 7, and the myAudi app has never functioned for a single day. It completely stopped syncing on June 24, throwing continuous HTTP 503 and backend server errors ever since.
What is worse than the broken software is Audi's shocking customer service. I sent multiple emails and made phone calls; Audi Canada ignored my messages, and their phone support representative literally told me they were "helpless" due to their own network issues. Even the local dealership washed their hands of it, claiming everything is "normal" on their end while my app remains entirely dead. To top it off, the vehicle's main MMI screen frequently freezes while using navigation, creating a severe driving hazard.
Audi happily takes your money for a premium vehicle but completely abandons their warranty obligations when their substandard technology fails. I have officially filed a consumer complaint with OMVIC to hold them accountable. Avoid this brand if you expect functioning tech and basic customer respect. Total failure.

Audi Q8 E-tron
The app doesn’t connect to the car. I cannot get any information not charging not range not activate the AC remotely. Nothing, absolutely nothing works after the previous update. Just updated to the latest version of the app and it did not fix the issue.

App has been good enough and helpful over the years. But a new update has the app constantly using location and running in the background, worse than Waze. I have background app refresh turned off. Location is set to only while using. Don’t know why the new update keeps it running after disconnecting from the car. Never did that before

For such an advanced technological car the features in the app lag what a regular gas car has available in the app. The new update made things even more dis functional. I can’t see the status of my vehicle with this new update. Very displeased with the Audi app and MMI.

Cannot Connect to Car
The app no longer connects to my car following a recent update. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but that made no difference. Logged into the website (found a suggestion online) but that had no effect, either. Support is beyond lacking to troubleshoot the problem.
Charge target
I am unable to set the charge target through the app. The same error message appears - Could not send the desired target charge

Lack of functions
For a so say premium brand, where is the remote lock/unlock, where is the flash the headlamp function where are the charging stats. And for mine, possibly not app related but my app regularly looses functionality with a message saying the privacy settings are active, when they aren’t. Overall a really disappointing effort for a top brand.

Totally unreliable
When you need it most, charging is invariably “deactivated.” No explanation. Just “deactivated.”

Mostly good
I like to use the door lock/unlock feature but there is quite a delay for a response to it opening . Other than that the vehicle data, fuel level and being able to activate the horn to scare off pigeons is great.
Having a good level of functionality for Apple Watch is appreciated.

Should have bought a BMW!
Picked up my brand new all electric Audi nearly two weeks ago and the app wouldn’t connect raised with the technical team, still waiting for the courtesy of a reply? Sitting here wishing I’d picked the BMW IX!

I’ve recently bought an 11 month old Audi A3 Sportsback and I love the car. Unfortunately the app occasionally shows the car as being unlocked, I physically check the car, it’s locked so I lock it on the app. It’s frustrating because I’m pretty good at locking my car and always assume the app is wrong but there could be that one time …..

App is Good… Vehicle software is Subpar
The app functions well and provides relevant information on the vehicle status. However the in-vehicle software has been plagued with issues. A nagging issue has been the simple handshake of the user key handshake from one user to the next. It doesn’t recognize the change in user keys and if it does, it takes forever for seat selection and user preferences to load. A frustrating experience for 18 months and still no resolution. A response is… “We are working on it”.
