The app doesn’t permit you to register the digital key for the remote start. I’ve been back and forth to the dealer several times and nothing can be done. I just purchase a 2026 sq5 premium plus sportsback. It is to my understanding that Audi has been aware of this issue since 2025 and nothing is being done to correct the problem. I’m extremely disappointed and I’m not satisfied with the runaround I’ve been receiving

App update - broken charging
Since the last app update, the ability to see the charge status of the car now shows as de-activated. I’ve been speaking to Audi support for the last month and they don’t have a fix. Can’t believe they would update their app without proper testing. I’ve lost a very important part of ev functionality because of it

Real Audi E-Tron driver
The Audi app is, without a doubt, one of the worst apps I've ever used.
Data refresh is painfully slow. It feels like my car is sending updates by carrier pigeon instead of over the internet.
Why does the app launch every single time I connect to the car? It looks like a workaround just to force a data refresh. There are hundreds of complaints about this on Audi forums, yet Audi doesn't seem to care.
The home screen widget is completely useless because it almost never shows up-to-date information.
This is an app for a premium automotive brand, yet it feels like an unfinished prototype. Basic functionality is unreliable, and the overall user experience is frustrating.
If Audi doesn't have the resources to build a proper app, just open the API. I'd build something better FOR FREE .

Very poor
The ‘schedule a service’ section has failed to work 100% of the time. It gets right through the booking system then when pressing the final SEND button it fails and shows some error message.
Why aren’t the people responsible able to test this stuff properly?
One part of the app says no charging active, when another part shows it is. It’s like a beta product.

Doesn’t work
I’ve tried since I bought my car to use this app but can’t even login I just get error messages every time

Have had teslas before and app was much more responsive and useful. The fact that Audi have still not worked out digital wallet and only one driver can use it is really bad. Data connections seem poor and recently

Missing functions
The equipment and technical data for my vehicle has disappeared since the latest update. This app is just a never ending list of faults!
Good but quirky of late
Have been using my audi for about three years, until recently without problems but recently had issues of it falsely reporting vehicle status issues for example reporting that windows are open when they are not. It also recently started to autonomously change charging modes during smart charging causing the smart charging to stop until the timers on the car are manually reset.

OK features, lacks real integration and automation
No shortcuts integration, sends persistent notification badges with no real indication of what the notification is or way of clearing. Lacks real automation like auto locking vehicle when parked for x hours or start ventilation / ac remotely or timed.
Notifications badge won’t go away
This is so bad. Been using it for years and still buggy. I have a red bubble that’s been there for days but nothing in the app.

The app shows a red notification dot on the app icon but no notifications are shown when opening the app. It is in an alert state but there is no way to know what the alert notification is for.

App UX is great when it works, but that has become less and less reliable
The UX of the App is superb including integration with Apple Watch. However, too often it loses or can’t find a connection with the car. This has got worse with time. Sadly Audi’s tech team don’t appear to have kept pace with the Audi brand of old and neither the App or the in-car tech is reliable.

New update removed whether car is locked or not. It now says “no information” under “Lock”
