Easy to setup and use

I started using this for my workplace pension and found it easy to setup and see my pension information. I also discovered I could easily transfer an old pension into my Aegon one via Mylo. After entering some basic details they searched and located the pension and arranged the transfer. Would recommend.

This Aegon Pension app with responsive customer service team

I moved my other pension from older work places to Aegon using this app . It was simple just answered very few questions and done. I like that I can choose which type of investment I want to have my pension. Some other pension doesn’t allow this .

really easy to use and super helpful

i recently combined my old pension and i thought it would be a complicated process, however Aegon made this super easy and it was within my account in a couple of days, now all of my pensions are together and i can easily see how much is in there, great company to use!

Finding and combining my pensions made easy!

After downloading Mylo from Aegon I thought I would try the offering to find and combine my pensions.

I had a couple out there from years ago which I didn’t know the references for but it’s not information that Mylo required. All I needed was the name of my previous employer and the years that I worked there and Mylo did the rest. Very easy to do and I now have my pensions all in one place. Superb.

Easy enough to set up and use

Started with a new employer who use Aegon for pensions. I was able to set up an account and now I can easily keep track of my pension amount in the app. There’s also the option to transfer other pensions in if you wish and also set up nominated beneficiaries.

Decent little app

The app runs seamlessly with a modern design and is easy to navigate.

I haven’t had experience with any other pension providers however this app is great for finding old pensions, seeing total contributions and how they change over time as well as expected values long term.

Everything I need on a day to day basis

I wasn’t sure about having my pension fund in an app but it works really well, not only can I access some basic functions but it makes it really quick and easy to know how it is doing without needing to wait for the annual report. A really useful little app.

Handy, useful App in a bite sized format

Really enjoying using the Mylo app, it makes checking on pension, transferring pensions and looking at statuses super easy. It has all the information at hand instead of jumping through hoops on other clunky competitor platforms. Would highly recommend downloading.

Does exactly what it should

The app is clean, intuitive and easy to navigate. I used it to update my beneficiary and the process was quick and reassuring. Makes something that usually feels complicated feel simple.

Really impressed with the Mylo app. It’s easy to use, looks great, and makes checking in on my savings feel quick and straightforward. Everything is clearly laid out, which makes managing money a lot less stressful. Definitely a handy app to have.

An honest review of Mylo

After downloading the App I can now easily track the progress of my pension. It couldn’t be simpler. The App is easy to use and Incan now get instant access wherever I am. Honestly, I cannot imagine going back now to using the old method of logging into the portal, using a web browser on my computer.

Easy to Use

App is very easy to view and gives you a clear view of your pension at a glance and shows you the return in both % & £. Shows you which products you are invested in. Would be nice to see how much each investment has moved individually as well as the total portfolio

Fab service from Mylo

First time using the service and it’s been fantastic. I was able to transfer two pensions to my existing pension and update my beneficiary information- everything from one app making pensions much easier to understand.

Mylo were fantastic 5 star

I’ve used Mylo to bring my existing pensions from other providers together with my current pension with aegon and they were fantastic, simple to do, easy instructions and they did all the work for me. I still have to find some paperwork out to do the rest but once I have that’s all I need to do and they take care of it for you! Great service thanks.

Easier than other pension apps I’ve used.

Super easy to navigate, straight forward set up and amend any details. Was simple to consolidate via the app also.

There must of been a lot of updates as I’ve not come across any of the issues other users have encountered.

Great modern way to view your pension

Mylo has been great. I’ve always struggled to view my pension information in the past on outdated websites. Mylo provides a modern easy to use UI for your smartphone. I appreciate that it supports Face ID as this feels more secure than a password in some instances.

I’ve been using Mylo for a little while and it’s really handy. It makes checking my pension simple and easy to understand. I like that it can show old pension pots I’d forgotten about and gives helpful reminders. Overall, it’s made sorting out my pension less stressful.

Needs work bad UX

The Aegon pension app was much better and had great improvements recently. I was told by my work place pension that we need to move to Mylo. Have joined this app only to find it is not working properly yet. Has lost the ease of the Aegon app. You go on the Profile page and there is NO WAY to return to the rest of the app. Did you even UAT this??? This is terrible user experience and poor fur accessibility. Why create a new app that is not as good as your old one? Now I have joined this, I cannot log in to the old app and return to what is usable. Sort it out BEFORE making people join.

You should still be able to use the Aegon app for now, so you don't lose access while we continue moving over to Mylo. On Mylo, there should be a navigation bar at the bottom of your screen showing options like Home, Activity, Support and Profile. If this isn't showing for you, something isn't working as it should. So we can get this sorted, please email us at mylofeedback@aegon.co.uk, and we'll look into this right away.

Poor

Oh dear, despite completing several surveys over time and giving lots of feedback and suggestions, ‘Mylo’ is actually a retrograde step from the current app. The one (minor) plus is links to factsheets. Beyond that, the total performance return figure is wrong, there’s no transaction info, there’s no fund-level performance, analysis, holdings or cost data, there’s no transaction history. Sorry, developers, but have a look at the likes of Fidelity and Hargreaves Lansdown for an idea of what ‘good’ is. This app is basic in the extreme and falls hugely short of what Consumer Duty encourages you to do for investors.
