Big downgrade
In the old app I could easily schedule an appt with my PCP. It was as simple as clicking book again. Ever since the upgrade I now I have to search for my provider every time. And then enter my insurance information.
Plus when asked to fill out forms for an appt clicking the button takes me to a page where it looks like I should have to login but there isn’t actually a place to login.
Super frustrating all around.

Room for improvement
I appreciate the convenience of being able to book appointments and communicate with my providers with quick responses. However, it would be very helpful if the app included the option to view lab orders. I’m currently having difficulty confirming some important lab orders. Please consider looking into adding this feature.

App keeps loading
Every time I try to make a new appointment with my doctor the app keeps on loading and then goes back to the main screen. It’s really irritating because it is not working correctly. It’s really annoying. I figured maybe it was just temporary. But I tried a month later to reschedule an appointment and that didn’t work. So I tried making a new appointment and that wouldn’t work. I can’t stand it. Now I have to call up my doctor’s office directly and make my appointments. My Catholic Health app is so much better. But the doctors that I have in Northwell Health I have difficulties with because the app sucks. That’s why I really try to find a doctor. That’s in Catholic Health. But unfortunately, there are two doctors that I see that are in Northwell Health and I don’t have a choice in that because they are really great doctors.

Impossible Captcha Sequence
The captcha verification sequence is literally endless. I spent 10 minutes tapping through dozens of images and nothing works. Horrible verification method.
Huge downgrade
I never write reviews. But this app is so bad now that I had to write one. On the old app I had my PCP saved and my insurance saved. This new “upgraded” app decided it wanted to get rid of that and now when I try to schedule an appointment with my PCP, it keeps recommending doctors 40 miles away from me. I can’t even make a follow up appointment with my PCP through this app… very confusing and I’m 27 years old… good lord anyone who doesn’t use technology has to use this app.
I get Northwell is finally transitioning to Epic which is an amazing EMR (I don’t even know if that has anything to do with this app). But this app is horrendous and needs to be looked at because if I’m having this much trouble making a follow up appointment for an annual… good luck to anyone who has to set up intricate appointments with specific timing.
