App often fails to connect
Whilst I really enjoy the range of options within the app as well as it’s functionality, the annoying thing is that the app often fails to connect to my hearing aids. It then requires reinstalling losing all your bespoke hearing programmes. Really frustrating! Could be a brilliant app.
Disappointing App
My Phonak hearing aids are a game changer. The app not so much. There is a bug in the app causing force closing and I cannot change the settings of my devices because the app will not stay open. I reached out to customer service and they were very prompt with instructions to redownload the app and repair my devices. That was unsuccessful and I was referred to my provider, who has no control over the app. A bit frustrated that the settings are unavailable because of the app…

Volume Problems
I have recently purchased a pair of INFINIO Ultra Sphere I90.What ever program I select the volume always reverts to the default settings. This is ridiculous once you set the volume in the app it should stay at the set volume. Very Poor!!
The service
Wow, the hearing aids are ok but my specialist is great her service will keep me coming back
Buggy unreliable
Doesn’t work well with iPhone. More trouble than it is worth. I prefer using the remote as it is more reliable.
Bluetooth connections working better now
I have had my Phonak L90-RT hearing aids for three weeks now. I read reviews of the app after ordering them but before they arrived and was at once concerned about so many recent low ratings.
When I received my hearing aids, I also found many dropped connections. Going back over the reviews, I was disturbed to see that the response from the vendor was a canned text, copy and pasted into the review. The texts did not seem to address the problem, and many contained the same embarrassing typo. They linked to a problem-solving article which I did not find useful. The article described a procedure to use after an IOS (sic) update or new fitting. However, most of the problems were happening daily. Re-establishing Bluetooth connections, closing all apps, and reloading software are brute force instructions that do not fix the root cause.
In my case I found two root causes, using an AI. One or the other hearing aid sometimes goes into an error mode and fails to work. There is no indication of error, other than it not working. Pressing the push button on the body of the failing hearing aid for 3 seconds resolves this. The other involved a conflict of multiple apps interfering with the connection to Bluetooth. Again, stopping all apps is overkill. Only the app improperly interfacing with the hearing aids need to be terminated.
When inserting the hearing aids, connections work most reliably if my iPhone is nearby and the Phonak app is open. I rarely have problems anymore.
Despite the Bluetooth problems, I really do like my new hearing aids, and they have opened new worlds for me. The ability to stream TV sounds directly to the hearing aids is amazing. I will put in my vote for an Apple Watch app. That would be most useful.

Wife
The problems I have are being able to switch to automatic fast enough to hear what my wife is talking about! Also any time there is a notification on the phone, the program’s switch. I just got a new phone, hoping these issues would be fixed. It would be nice if I could hit a side button and change to atomic, this would save the fights we have as she is not very patient!

Some days just will not connect to H aids😡😡, just a fight🤬🤬🤬🤬
A fight, WHY??
Phonak hearing are junk
The connection to these freakin things is horrible. Seventy five percent of the time, they will not switch from one function to the next. Definitely regret buying them, don’t recommend them to ANYONE.

The hearing aids I have are excellent I especially enjoy and appreciate the Bluetooth I would recommend them to any soldier needing hearing aid! 👍👍👍
A little quirky
While they are good in most one on one situations, they do not live up to the claim of hearing in a crowded environment. A busy restaurant is very hard to hear in.
The aids switch blue tooth on at any sharp external sound, and a burst of white noise lasts 5~8 seconds. Very odd.
In other situations, volume changes up & down from my chosen setting for no apparent reason.

Hearing Aid remote
I just had an exceptional phone call with the representative Will who fitted my hearing aids specifically for my situation. Incredible customer service and I am thoroughly thankful.
Accessibility on the app
Hello. So I am a blind user of these hearing aids. The app is 95% accessible for us using voiceover on an iPhone. Except for when it comes to making adjustments. I am unable to access the adjustment screen, therefore unable to make any adjustments. Other than that, the app is fully accessible for blind people using voiceover. Hopefully this can be fixed ASAP.

Restaurant Performance
The noise cancellation is minimal at best. Otherwise they work fine.

Great response very helpful
MyPhonak program
The problem with this program is it is very poor in working all its controls with the latest iPhones. The interface is iffy at best
Trash
Piece of trash app doesn’t connect to my hearing aids
Great premium hearing aids, abysmal integration with iPhone.
The Infinio i90 has stellar sound processing, but the software architecture and reliance on Classic Bluetooth makes using an iPhone an exercise in frustration. Prematurely launched, unstable app connection. Premium priced tech should integrate seamlessly into the iPhone. Shameful experience.
Worst app
I have a profound hearing loss and live solely through the use of my hearing aids. The only way I can use the phone and I use an iPhone is who we out called my phone. It’s constantly cannot connect to my Bluetooth connection is horrible. It’s bad enough. I have to use caption call which is also horrible, but I have no choice in what I can do. I hate this app. I hate that my iPhone app I love the hearing aids. I cannot live without these are the most powerful hearing aids money can buy, and I am at their mercy and I am at the mercy of this app. I don’t know why it doesn’t work. I have sent so many request into phone never a reply. Never fixed. It just will not connect.
