New wifi garage door opener
Installed this yesterday after upgrading my garage door motor. Wiring seamlessly so far, however would love to see CarPlay support for Ford vehicles to be able to use this like I do with my estate gate opener. Works on a similar system. Would have giving it 5 stars if that was the case

Get rid of the Stories tab! It is useless. This is a garage door opener app, not a novel. Ever since Stories was added, my access tab gets stuck refreshing.
Great addition
I’m so pleased with having the ability to open or close my garage doors wherever I’m at in the world. So handy and useful.
Avoid myQ brand!
I paid $500 for this garage door opener and the app is trying to charge me to open the garage door and showing ads!

Keypad entry doesn’t work half the time. No support documents for the keypad anywhere. Only the video recording faqs and how-tos are available

I will never ever in my life grant some company, much less an unscreened Amazon driver, access to my home. Are you people insane? You can offer it once, and that’s wonderful for the crazy people who will let strangers have unsupervised access to their home, but for the rest of us sane people, let us dismiss it once and move on with our lives. It does not need to pop up every time I open the app. I want to open the app, see the state of my garage, and then change that state (open or close, that’s it!) with a simple button. Nothing else!!!!

Useful but…
1. Please add open and close garage door to Apple Watch complications.
2. Seems off that the camera gives no live notifications without premium subscription. I can understand no recording, but it is pretty useless

So many promos
The app works great- once you can get past the internal ads and promos. Nothing like being in a hurry, opening the app, and having a message slowly load about Amazon drop off, cloud video storage, or something else. Someone decided the app itself was a profit center rather than a tool that you get for purchasing the hardware, and it’s super annoying. I already bought three openers, can you let me just use the app without trying to upsell me every time?

Works intermittently
This thing does work but when it fails… it is annoying. It can stop you from leaving, it can stop you from getting home. Don’t fall for the convince. Get a normal garage door opener. It always works if it has batteries. This can fail with WiFi, an app update, a server issue, and a battery issue. It’s just not worth it.

Buyer beware
This product consistently drops my garage door opener and I then have to reprogram it. Sometimes last a day sometimes three weeks. I changed out my router, hard wired an extender in to my garage, had geek squad over, had my internet provider look at it and used myQ support. I am on vacation and now the Amazon people cannot open my door as the opener was dropped once again. MyQ support answer is always “it’s your ISP providers issue” I doubt I can return this to Amazon but this definitely is going straight into the garbage when we get home. Don’t risk buying it.

It only works with subscription
They updated the app and it now only allows you to view your video if you pay the subscription. I don’t need my data backed up, I just need access to what is stored on the internal memory card and this access was completely removed without a subscription. This is worthless to me now.

I'm just so sick of having to constantly mess with it to be able to have video. Reset app, reset camera, etc.; Only to have itgo out again and again. It's not worth it. I'm just going to cancel the BS and put my money towards a properly functioning video system

The app is actually great but every time I go to use it, it asks me to review the app so you get one star
