Need explanation

The airtime depletes without me using it. Surely this is unfair!!!!

Cannot see how much data has been used. Messages from safaricom contrast to that on my phone.

This new mySafaricom app sucks bring back mpesa what is this like genuinely it’s pathetic it must be cause it’s in the early stages but I can’t with this can’t use the app without buying data can’t access my global pay card details what’s going on🤦🏾‍♂️

Painful

Too slow. especially when not in Kenya! You should have 25Hrs support not everyone is on Kenyan time zone.

ESIM Hassle

They require customers to visit a corporate office just to get an eSIM, while many other networks let you convert a physical SIM to an eSIM yourself in minutes. Very inconvenient and outdated process.

MMSC failure & Spam Text

MMSC wasn’t set up properly or may be blocked. Customer care gave no clear answers. I’ve heard Airtel offers better data and smoother MMSC settings. I’m seriously considering switching.

Too many spammy text that keeps coming back. Text 333 to report these spam has no effect

Appears to have taken my money

I bought 3k of airtime and then tried to buy a 3k 5g package. It seemed to work but I got no data from it and when I tried to use my data safaricom said I had no active bundle. Now I deposited another 3k and tried to buy again, and this time it says insufficient balance! And there is no way to contact support on the app

Pretty Useless

This app directs me to turn off wifi and go to settings every single time I run the app. Then I can’t get into my account. Typical Kenyan ingenuity.

Doesn’t work

This app has caused me uncountable headaches just trying to use it. I preferred the MPESA only app. I have also encountered several fraud attempts on my line with this new app. Security and ease of use need to be improved. Very disappointing.

Access is very difficult

Why must I continuously enter my PIN to see my usage and top up? Why is it that the PIN doesn’t work for me and I constantly have to visit your office e to fix the problem? Very very bad user experience

Terrible update

This recent update, has rendered this app the worst app on here. they messed up a perfectly working app. The developers should be fired for this new app.TRASH.

This is very inconvenient app especially in diaspora where you don’t have the safaricom line active all the time

Utterly Useless

Bring back the old app. This one keeps losing all my information and often thinks my phone number is totally different from the actual number or tells me I have no SIM card. It keeps losing my favourite phone numbers so I have to re-enter them. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times as that seems the only way to make it work. It’s pitifully slow and all too often I have to revert to manually dialling and entering the information. Safaricom should be ashamed of themselves if this is the best they can do

Terrible

Does not function properly when out side Kenya.it should be set to connect to wifi n work together with the mpesa money market fund and zidi please fix this issue for all the diasporas
