Terrible app
Camera with monitor works well, the app though is terrible. Takes multiple attempts of reloading it to actually connect to the camera. When it does eventually connect, the app functions like turning on the light doesn’t work, for which you have to swipe up and reload several times also. Very frustrating and genuinely awful user experience.

Majority of the time it has an issue connecting to the camera. Very annoying. Refreshed and done all it asks for. Just rarely works
Wonderful monitor
I use this monitor for an elderly gentleman I take care of. I need to care for him different times of the night. This monitor allows me to see extremely clearly and to communicate with him to make sure he is safe. I love that I could also use this app on my phone. It makes it very convenient.
Never seems to work right
The app is always spotty and never loads in properly. There’s always some kind of connection issue even when there is full internet access and power for the camera. The notifications are incessant and go off almost every minute even if you change the settings. There’s always something wrong or not working and our whole experience with this app has been abysmal. Wouldn’t recommend this company or its products until they fix the issues with their systems.

Heat problem
Keeping the app open for a relatively long period (20-30min) makes it so the phone heats up wayy too much
App drains battery
We loved our camera and parent unit but the parent unit broke within a year… we now have only the app and if I have the app open all night my phone over heats and it completely drains my phone battery. I’m not sure why it does this because I have no issues using my phone with any other apps just this one.

Advertisements when I’m trying to check on my baby
So sick of every piece of software serving me ads. I want to check on my baby, not buy your new product. No obvious click through available. Shame of these companies.
Camera doesn’t work after a while
Had the camera less then a year and switched WiFi one day and one camera won’t work anymore
Great Product
This a great product for the price it accomplishes what it promises. Being able to turn the camera around would be a great additional functionality for future improvements.

Advertisement/promo money hungry.
I don’t need advertisements and promos when I open the app to check on my baby with no way to close it without clicking on it.
They’ve added Ads
In a recent update I now get ads. Ads in dollars despite not living in the US. I also can’t get rid of the ad. The only way to dismiss the ad is to restart the app slowing down why notifications are going off and whether my child needs help or not. Won’t be buying vtech again.
Supper annoying
It is great until you are in an emergency and need to check the camera quickly and it decided to interrupt you with a pop up trying to sell some stupid camera stand! The worst part is you can’t close it unless you click through it.

Its A Matter of Safety
The new ads cannot be closed and pose a serious threat when you’re needing to quickly check on a child. If this is how it’s going to be, we will be ditching Vtech.
Not Happy
VTech has started to push ads on the App which cannot be closed and renders App useless. Only a forced closure and reopening the app can you get rid of the promotional advertising. Which may appear again at random. No where in settings can you turn it off. After spending a small fortune on VTech baby monitors, not very happy at the moment and will not recommend this app or VTech equipment.

App Sucks and Cameras Loud
First of all, stop sending unclosable ad pop ups when you first open the app. Parents need to be able to see their monitors for a reason and it’s NOT to see an ad. At least have the courtesy to make it closable; you can’t even X out if you open the ad and go back to the app!!! Same thing with the premium subscription, I paid a lot of money for these products, I’ve already told you countless times I’m not subscribing to premium features so stop asking!!! This is such a terrible user experience and it’s completely unnecessary to spam ads on parents when they’re actively trying to view this kids.
There’s an issue with the heat sensor where it sends an alarm on the monitor non-stop at 69 degrees, why? I’ve checked settings to verify that it wasn’t something that reset during an update or something and there’s nothing.
The camera click on loud when you open them, enough to wake a just settled baby…
When this system dies, I won’t purchase again. I will also never recommend this to anyone I know.
Vtech- when a parent uses their precious and very limited time to leave feedback, please don’t ignore it.

App started to show promotions where you have to click redeem offer before you can check the camera. Absolutely disgusting.
