Motion recording doesn’t work
The motion records does NOT work. It records but it’s stuck from days before and just won’t upload this is nonsense and even if you try to delete events to see if it will pop pup, nothing

Generally works fine; but the video detections recordings sucks. You cannot access the detection recordings. I’ve had to delete and reinstall the app 3-4 times since getting the vtech monitor a

Amazing app if I could say anything it would be that when both parents have the app downloaded the preferences for notifications ect could be more individually tailored and not universal on both when done on one
The baby pro is better
Unhappy with this app. I bought a new camera and monitor so I had to download this app. I miss my old camera and baby pro app. This one I try so many times to refresh the motion detections and it doesn't. Like this morning I've tried to refresh the notifications to see when my kids woke up, and it wouldn't load from last night motion detections. The sound detections are also suuuuper sensitive, so it picks up on any sound like a car passing by. Also the night vision picture is not clear, though I think this is camera problem

Too many ads
Every time I want to see the camera I am prompted to subscribe to their premium service and there’s no way to disable the popup.
Useless App
The app never works. The live feed takes forever to load so we’re never able to look at a “motion detected” notification as it’s happening. The app also never captures video recordings of movement. My son woke up, got out of his bed and walked around his room for a bit but the app didn’t record any of that motion. Additionally, the motion log is always 2-3 days behind. Right now the app is currently displaying motion from 7/30/26. It is 8/3/26. We unfortunately have to buy a new camera because it’s important for us to be able to see how often our son wakes up throughout the night and the lack of recordings doesn’t allow us to do that and there is no peace of mind right now.

Terrible app
Camera with monitor works well, the app though is terrible. Takes multiple attempts of reloading it to actually connect to the camera. When it does eventually connect, the app functions like turning on the light doesn’t work, for which you have to swipe up and reload several times also. Very frustrating and genuinely awful user experience.

Majority of the time it has an issue connecting to the camera. Very annoying. Refreshed and done all it asks for. Just rarely works
Wonderful monitor
I use this monitor for an elderly gentleman I take care of. I need to care for him different times of the night. This monitor allows me to see extremely clearly and to communicate with him to make sure he is safe. I love that I could also use this app on my phone. It makes it very convenient.
Never seems to work right
The app is always spotty and never loads in properly. There’s always some kind of connection issue even when there is full internet access and power for the camera. The notifications are incessant and go off almost every minute even if you change the settings. There’s always something wrong or not working and our whole experience with this app has been abysmal. Wouldn’t recommend this company or its products until they fix the issues with their systems.

Heat problem
Keeping the app open for a relatively long period (20-30min) makes it so the phone heats up wayy too much
App drains battery
We loved our camera and parent unit but the parent unit broke within a year… we now have only the app and if I have the app open all night my phone over heats and it completely drains my phone battery. I’m not sure why it does this because I have no issues using my phone with any other apps just this one.
