Most services have working apps.
A while ago when I switched to ZiplyFiber, I was trying to change a password or check something about my account or something simple that a working app would have easily help me take care of myself. The app was not working, so I called them instead which was fine. When I asked if maybe the app was broken temporarily or if I had messed it up on my end they told me that the app just wasn’t finished yet. Seems weird to have an unfinished app for such a necessary service, advertise the app on your website, and keep the app “unfinished” for I believe what is now 2 coming up on 3 years now? I’m very glad that Ziply seems to have a responsive and helpful call service, but I don’t want to bother them for things that any other company’s’ app would let me do so easily! Please finish the app! I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but if people are trying to decide whether they should switch to Ziply or not, this app and its rating does not send a positive message to potential customer and just annoys current ones. The bigger service provider in my area is constantly calling and sending me mail to get me to switch back to them and I like the Ziply service fine, but if people don’t care either way and one company has a working app and the other doesn’t, this may not sway the decision alone but it will be taken into consideration and a negative point for Ziply.

App does not work… at all
I spent a good 2 hours on the phone with tech support and every single person I talked to told me to uninstall and redownload the app. And you wouldn’t believe it if I told you twice, still doesn’t work. I couldn’t imagine being a billion dollar company and not having a functioning app in the world we live in. Please please please fix this. Not everyone has access to a laptop or computer and use their phones as their computers.

Your Overall Quality Reflects in the App
To management: just look at the rating for goodness sake. It has been like that for months. What does that tell your customers? When it comes to the app, if you’re not willing to put in time and effort, and you are willing to give your customers something halfway-developed, don’t even bother. Leaving it up and not fixing it just shows us all where the company’s priorities are! It says to everyone, “Ziply doesn’t care about customers, they care about financial targets. Ziply obviously considers this app’s development, and ultimately a customer’s valuable time and overall experience, a variable cost that can be kept down, and we do not care as long as they pay us on time every month.” Now, either that is true, or maybe you hired a bad developer who took your money and left you with this pile, who knows. But next fiscal year, since this obviously wasn’t in 2023’s budget, you should really do yourselves a favor and **fix your app**. This just looks bad, and won’t help your company grow at all.

App Doesn’t Work
It won’t let me login to the app, keeps telling me “An Unknown Error Has Occurred”. I haven’t had a problem with the WiFi so far, I’ve only had it for a few days and it’s been perfectly fine. Connected 4 different devices, still no problem with load speeds or anything.
A company on a fast decline
I had used Ziply for years with no real issues. Now they claim my area has been upgraded to fiber. The price went up without warning, the speed went down, and now I can’t get through a 22 minute sitcom without freezing and buffering at least twice. Basically, these people are liars and thieves. You can’t even contact them with their (garbage, info stealing) app
