Set up terrible
Have Rogers and tried to set up the 5G modem with this app. It was awful. Eventually got it working with a bunch of ChatGPT help. I think a 8 old wrote this app
Garbage
The app is bad as it is the internet itself. I got the basic one which an employee from Rogers suggested. I couldn’t watch some reels sometimes. It was so bad. Upgrade to ultimate and it is also bad. I’ll cancel everything and find another provider.
Limited options
I don’t know if it’s the specific firmware from Rogers, but there is not even an option to reboot the 5G gateway. It seems to automatically switch to the 5G connection if there is no longer WAN-Ethernet traffic possible, but it doesn’t switches back once the WAN port is available again, forcing all the traffic through the cell network. Not a lot of options to configure the device (also, maybe limited in the fw, as even via the web interface the config is quite restricted).

version 2.0.0 says no cellular connection
after updating, the app cannot discern that there is in fact a cellular connection, and says ‘no signal’. this comes as a surprise to a successful speedtest and streaming apps.
Garbage
Router I got sent barely works at all with Rogers 5G. Pretty much living off my own data now. Just going to cancel this altogether. App doesn’t work worth anything, I’ve had this for 2 days and the wifi goes bad and I need to hard reset the router every 10 minutes. Not worth your time. Stay away from this garbage.
