Vertuo Next wonât connect to WiFi.
Like all the other reviews mentioned Iâve tried everything all the troubleshooting steps and the machine just will not connect.

Worst app on my phone, itâs inconsistent and janky and a complete joke. DO BETTER.
Just really bad
As you can see from most reviews, horrible broken process of pairing with the machine, have two of these in two homes, they are descent but app is just bad. To make the things worse, after pairing eventually successfully, devs update the app which not only breaks your login, but loses the pairing. You have to reset the machine to pair again because it says it is already paired, but it doesnât work, 5 min of trying and just fails. Over and over. Horrible job devs!

New app doesnât connect
Why bother rolling out a new app that doesnât work? shouldâve just left the old app going . I have no way of programming my cup volume now or to get notified when I I need descaling . I see this has been an ongoing issue for at least six months in the reviews and nothingâs been done to fix it .
The app is not working!
I can't even get it to open. Keep getting a error message. Deleted and reinstalled the several times but it won't work.

What an awful app. Will not connect to my $500 machine. After spending so much time trying to connect, calling the worthless customer service⌠itâs not worth it. DO NOT enter this ecosystem, go with a different brand and thank me later.

Horrible app! Forced to download, works like absolute trash. Have to do everything on the Nespresso manually now. 10000% switching to a different machine make after this one breaks (hopefully sooner than later)!

Update: July 5th, 2026. This app gives you notifications but when you tap the notification nothing happens. The notification doesnât tell you anything and when you open the app the notification is gone. This app did work for a software update on the Nespresso machine but I havenât tried to use the app for anything else. This app is barely usable. Water levels for various coffeeâs and espressoâs can be manually adjusted on the machine itself according to the manual. The Nespresso machine is still working great. So Iâm just not using the app for anything. Original review: I just purchased a new Nespresso Vertuo Next in June 2026. After using the machine for 4 or 5 days which all went very well after watching all the videos via the QR codes in the manual. I then decided to download this app and hook up my Nespresso machine to the app. I was able to turn on my Bluetooth and WiFi on my phone as instructed. Then I was able to link up the app following the in app instructions to my Nespresso machine and also my home WiFi router. After that the app was all set up. Then in the app there was a blue box indicating available information in settings. It said there was a software update for the Nespresso machine. So following the in app instructions. I started the update. The update started and one of those Apple whirls came up indicating youâre waiting for completion. It also said the software update would take up to 15 minutes. Well over an hour and 15 minutes later the update did Not complete. So I unplugged the Nespresso machine. The app was stuck so I turned my phone completely off therefore resetting the app. Once I turned my phone completely back on. I plugged the Nespresso machine back in opened the app. Connected to the Nespresso machine in the app and attempted the Nespresso machine software update a second time. Well to my surprise this time the software update worked and finished in less than 10 minutes. So Iâm happy with this app so far. Itâs obviously buggy. If youâre bothered by the app or having problems you could simply not use the app at all. You donât really need it. The Nespresso machine works great without using the app at all. So many reviews of this app indicate extreme problems with this app. So if your Nespresso machine is working well enough without the app then simply dump the app.

Nespresso âSmartâ⌠what a joke
Used to have one app that did everything just fine, now have to download two separate apps that canât connect my device to wifi, so I can no longer clean my machine nor update it. Great work.
Terrible app
Connected once, then never again, not sure if the last update was the issue. It canât find wifi even though there clearly is.
Fails to connect WiFi
The app Nespresso is deprecating worked SO MUCH better and reliably. This new one has yet to manage a connection to my phone or wifi. I have had no troubles in the old app, and nothing else changed except the app. This one needs a lot of rework.
App & Vertuo pop is annoying
You need the app to be able to use your machine because the machine (vertuo pop) comes with ONE button to press to do everything.
If you want a different size coffee? need the app. Want a cold coffee? (for ice coffee) need the app. Want to clean the machine? need the app.
The app deleted itself from my ohone during a update and trying to get it set up again the second time... omg what a pain in the butt. Im getting so annoyed I want to throw the machine away because its probably got no resale value either due to the app.
The machine and app are both so bad at doing their jobs I'd rather just have drip coffee because its less painful. As soon as Im out of pods its going to the bin and I'll never buy another nespresso machine. My first question for any future machine from a different brand will be "does it need a app? yes? then hell no I dont want it" Imagine needing a app to have access to your fork to eat your dinner. New app sucks
This new app is horrible my machine wonât connect and when I finally find my machine and hit connect it says itâs already paired. I unplug and reset my machine as well as the app and still over and over same thing. I canât clean my machine properly now itâs super frustrating.

Hire new software developers. Old app worked great. Now old app upgrade version does not allow for maintenance. So how does one rinse and descale now? Oh, I need multiple apps? Get it together Nespresso.
