App with logic from 1990s
One of the worst apps in terms of logic and workflow. Here are the issues which NETS never bothered to fix:
(1) Every time I top up the Flashpay card, I need to enter CVV of the credit card configured in this App. In other modern Apps I can make purchases for few hundred dollars and it will charge to my credit card without having to enter CVV.
(2) So much so is their security that I get SMS alert about auto-top up after 2 days from transaction date 😜
(3) Maximum auto top up amount is $50 and worse is that there must be 3 days gap between each auto top. These days parking charges are high and $50 will not last for even 2 days. I had embarrassing situations where auto topup failed while exiting car park because previous topup was < 3 days. I had to put the gear in parking mode, pull out the Flashpay card from IU, take the mobile phone, open the NETS app, find out the credit card used in the NETS app, pull out my wallot from back pocket, search and take out the correct credit card, enter the CVV in the App, top up and put the Flashpay card into IU while amused drivers behind me honking.
(4) If card value is low, ERP2 IU keeps giving annoying alert tone whenever you start the car. But auto top up will happen only if the card balance is lower than the amount to be paid at the gantry. Instead auto topup should happen when ever card balance is below the minimum amount IU expects.
In summary, this is an App with annoying Kiasu logic.

It’s like they don’t care
Can’t delete old cards. Face ID icon still looks like a finger print. This company charges 50 cents for every transaction and puts out an app that looks like it’s from 2010
System error
Keep showing system error when try to top up. Need to try few times. Need some improvement on system
First impression
Can’t use AMEX as the CVV field only has 3 digits and keeps timing out on the master card.
Card block issue
I am extremely disappointed with NET’s mobile platform service. The system design is poor and the overall service quality is unacceptable.
In today’s digital era, many simple functions should easily be handled through a mobile platform. However, your system still requires customers to personally visit the service counter to resolve issues that should be manageable online. This is very difficult to understand.
Firstly, the Auto Top Up function on the platform is poorly designed. Users are unable to update the expiry date of their registered credit card through the mobile platform. Because of this limitation, once the automatic deduction fails due to an expired card, the card will be locked by the system.
What is even more unreasonable is that even if customers make the payment online afterward, the system still cannot unlock the card. Customers are still required to visit the company counter in person to resolve the issue.
Such an inconvenient system with such poor user experience raises serious concerns about the professionalism behind its design and management. I strongly urge NET to review and improve its mobile platform system in order to provide a level of service that meets the standards expected in today’s digital age.
