Quick initial visit but technology problems are significant

They got me in for my initial visit quickly which I appreciate but then follow through was difficult. There was a glitch with getting the visit notes and orders to upload. It took from Jan. 9 to Jan. 22 to resolve it. I like that there is a coach I can meet with for support and some of the agents in the app were very responsive. If it hadn’t been for this serious technology glitch, I’d give them five stars. I finally got the documents I needed but this took way too long. I hope the user experience is better from here on out.

Only for Headaches. Not worth monthly subscription

If you have migraines, this app can help. My experience was very cookie cutter. I explained all the neurological symptoms I’ve been having, but the doctor kept asking leading questions about migraines. If you have straightforward headaches, maybe they’re a fit. But if you’re dealing with broader neurological issues or need a provider who truly investigates beyond the surface, my experience says: look elsewhere. I walked away without answers and without feeling heard.

Worth MORE rather then a travesty of economical feature

Full disclosure: a have a refractory ( nothing works) unbearable incurable unremitting migraine condition. Another reviewer called neura “a money grab” having experienced true full-fledged “ money grabs,”well, let’s just say that what they describes in that review was for me was for and receive what the author of that review wrote. THIS.

I pay but use it well. I use and make use of two expert coaching lessons each month ,which I avail myself of. Those sessions are excellent. In more than one occasion staff were worried about me. They reached out extra to be sure I was ok..I know. Unheard
Of.

They work with you, not against you they are a seamless team. I have received many extras, discounts supplies and Servuces, all trying
to make things right I worked in all these roles.they communicate well. Good leadership. Get impossible-to-appprove meds on my awful
Insurance in my bourse within 48 hours.,

This service is no joke. Good to the bone.

Money grab

I been subscribed on and off for over a year now. My refill for some reason expired. After rejoining and requesting a refill. Frankie Dennison told me that I needed to schedule a follow up visit which I did immediately. I plead for the refill and they stated by next day afternoon I would have an update. Never got an update and my wife ended up with another SEIZURE. I payed them $200 to do my refill in subscription and the appointment just to end up in the er spending thousands. If am you don’t waste your money here. Go in person instead

There isn’t a single neurologist

Not a single neurologist available for appointment on the app, not even joking you can’t find this out until after you pay. And there’s no option to cancel paying

Withholding medication

Withholding emergency medication from a patient because you want them to schedule a $150 follow up should be illegal. Wow. To take advantage of chronic illness sufferers while claiming to be an advocate is pathetic at the very least. How about evil. Unethical. Despicable. I could go on….

Really gone down hill

This platform has really gone downhill since I became a member a few years ago. Now they are partnered with Tandem, an AI service for getting prior authorizations. And the AI keeps submitting the wrong forms and getting my prior authorizations rejected. They used yo be super responsive and communicative but now I can’t even get my medication refilled for weeks and I’m still waiting on lab orders that are from over a month ago. It’s been very frustrating and I don’t think it’s worth your money to use this online service. I will be getting off of it as soon as I find a local neurologist

Great person-to-person service

Neural health has been so very helpful in helping me navigate my vestibular migraines. The app could use a little work, but I have really enjoyed having access to my care team through the chat feature on the app. My provider has been very responsive, knowledgeable and supportive, taking the time to listen to my concerns (I’m an anxious patient). The coaching has been incredibly helpful to create a plan for care as my symptoms change often, there is a new challenge monthly it seems. The information the team provides on social media is the best. I’m constantly referring my friends to certain posts.

Things I’d like to see in the app:
1. I track my symptoms through another app and it would be nice to have an API that could connect to Neura as I really love the interface for the other one, but also want my care team access to the specific triggers, things that helped and attack duration.
2. The login screen briefly shows my care team and then goes to log I. Not a big issue, but the lag can be annoying.
3. Visit notes would be nice to have on the Get Care tab. Having it on the profile isn’t intuitive.
4. Confirmation for payment when booking an appointment. Another reviewer mentioned this as well. I knew when I signed up for the service that I would be changed certain fees, it would just be nice to confirm the charge before it’s actually made.
5. It would be kind of cool to have some of the graphics on social media on the app as well. Kind of like journeys for a specific diagnosis or set of symptoms. Maybe as part of the get care, that could be a self-service mini e-appointment.

Again, the NeuraHealth concept is a great one. Because of my vestibular migraines I often have to cancel appointments as I can’t drive during attacks but since this is all telehealth I know I can make it work even if I’m flaring up. Access to the team is also an invaluable feature.

Lifesavers

Neura Health has been amazing. I was struggling with debilitating headaches that my primary care, urgent care and hospital were all unable to successfully treat for almost a year, it was pure misery. The provider I saw through Neura was amazing, super knowledgeable and a fantastic listener. I was able to get in with her super fast and she instantly understood the complex problem (which had baffled everyone else), ordered imaging and got a difficult-to-approve prescription covered by my insurance very quickly. It has worked beautifully, I feel so much better I could cry. After struggling to get care and answers everywhere else I am beyond grateful for the care I got here. The price is worth it, they are lifesavers

Not the best

I’m not sure if this is a start up, but I don’t think it’s very efficient.

Silently charge $200 with no warning or confirmation

They silently charge you $200 when you book an appointment. No confirmation, just shows up on your credit card that was used to purchase the “$1” plan. Considering they do this to hope you don’t cancel in time for the crazy renewal fees (a fee you pay on top of the dr visit charge or copay) this company isn’t too far off from just a genuine scam. What a headache.

Cancellations aren’t fun.

Where do I start? I wanted to love Neura Health. Somehow I can fight my way through dizziness and cluster headaches better than I can navigate the healthcare system. I heard about neurahealth almost a year ago. I was hesitant to try it but I finally did. I gave up in 2021 on finding a treatment. With Neura Health I was quickly reminded of I stopped this process in the first place.

Two appointments in a row were cancelled by my provider. I had two provider options. The neurologist who I did not choose was booked 6 weeks out. In other words, I’d have to pay 2 months of membership just to schedule. The membership based structure quickly exposed itself for what it is. Their website claims “Same or next-day video visits with board-certified neurologists.” That was not the case in my experience. It was 6 weeks for me if I wanted to see one. My other option which I chose was with a nurse. Appointments were still fast, within a few days. I was happy with this, however, it wasn’t what was advertised. But that appointment was cancelled/rescheduled twice by my provider so it never happened.

The more I experienced the platform the worse it got. I understand that the membership includes xyz… Its good to offer those things but I can get a million headache trackers on my Phone. I don’t want coaching. My membership was literally paying to schedule an appointment and there’s no way around that.

I asked if literally anyone else could get me in after the second cancellation. I was only given the option to schedule with the same person a third time. At that point I had already changed my work schedule twice and rescheduled fixing my car (which isn’t drivable) for another week out with the mechanic just to accommodate the second appointment (which was later cancelled). I understand emergencies happen. I empathize with peoples circumstances. But I felt more could’ve been done to get me to at least see another provider or something at that point even if I had to wait a bit. I honestly couldn’t take another cancellation though. I opted not to reschedule a third time. I hope they change a few things with their platform and that nobody else has to go through this. On the plus side, the receptionists were nice and they DID refund me without hesitation when I asked.

By far the best way to be seen by a neurologist.

My story is simple. I needed a neurologist. The ones in my area had a 3 month wait time. My condition was getting worse. I met with Dr Berk twice. And we have a treatment plan and it’s getting better. This is a revolutionary way to take care of your brain health.

Godsend

This app has been a godsend. When you’re in pain every day and a neurologist is only willing to spend 5 minutes in person with you once every six months, it’s not enough. Enter this app. Professional and compassionate neurologists, many who suffer with migraine themselves, available right away, and a staff that is really quick about responding. They’ve been so communicative and helpful. The logging part is amazing too. It’s really thorough and shows you trends. I’ve been a migraine sufferer for 20+ years and I’m so thankful for this app!

App is awful

I have no idea how this app even works. Every time I opened it, I would log in, it would go through the welcome slides and then stop. There was no way to click on anything else, exit that screen or… do anything.

SCAM

This company is a scam!

App is rough on the edges

This is not a commentary on the service, but the app itself. While it’s responsive and stable, the usability leaves a lot to be desired. This is everything from to do items on the Home Screen only giving a textual description of where else to go in the app vs just going to there to offering to add an appointment to your calendar but not using the iOS API so instead you’re just shown the text of an ics file to then not offering the ability again in the app to add to your calendar to not telling you which forms you’ve completed or not.

I’ve heard great things about the service, but as a new user a poorly designed app isn’t confidence inspiring in how the practice is going to handle my PII.

Price Is Not $1

If your actively seeking treatment from debilitating headaches and don’t want to blow about $265, try WithCove for $4 per month! They have helped me for over four year now!

Doctors not available

MD’s not available for same day care and customer service takes 24 hours to respond so I bet this subscription will also be impossible to cancel.

The best neurologist, headache care, and care team ever

I came to Neura Health because of Dr. Berk, who is the best neurologist and doctor I’ve ever had. He is not only incredibly smart, dynamic, and an expert in neurology and specifically headaches, but he is also kind, available, and genuinely cares about a patients well-being and progress. He is absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. Further, Neura Health is unlike any other neurology practice because they solve what others don’t: they provide a full care team to take care of your needs from a holistic perspective. My headache coach, Cary, is so incredibly caring, kind, and attentive. Some doctors and practices simply treat the direct pain, forgoing the trauma of the entire experience and the changes it can cause in every other area of your life. Neura Health doesn’t. The entire team, including Madeleine the office manager, who is so attentive and dedicated to providing immediate help, is amazing and such a blessing. The team is accessible and genuinely cares. I could not be more appreciative and would recommend them to anyone looking for the absolute best care.
