Our city we work for chose these guys and I can never log in to check my balance or anything else. Worst site I’ve ever seen Should be a negative star they don’t deserve the one star
Login is unpredictable
Appears they don’t maintain this app and anytime apple does an OS upgrade the app fails. You can tell they don’t make money from

Buggy, basic
Major bug with FaceID - despite reinstalling the app crashes immediately after faceID login. Credentialed login fortunately works fine. Ugh.
Constantly Crashes
This app is useless. Unfortunately, it crashes every time I open it. This is 2026 Ascensus, get your app fixed.
Worst App I’ve Ever Used
Unfortunately I have to use this app for my current job. This app will crash if you try to do anything. Logging in? Crash. FaceID? Crash. Trying to change your investments? Crash. It’s a shame they don’t seem to care at all about their app and trying to make it user friendly at all. Fast food restaurants have more reliable apps than this

This app is great if you want to open and close and app by logging in. As soon as you enter your credentials it closes. Fun! But not useful.

The most painful app I’ve ever used. Crashes every time I open it. Says the app has not been updated for 4 months. Why not fix this?! If you have billions in assets you can afford to make this not so terrible. Do you care about your customers?

Use ReadySave app instead
Ascensus has another app called ReadySave that accepts your same Newport credentials. It’s much more polished and, from what I can tell so far, actually works. I don’t have to delete the app and reinstall it prior to every login attempt, so it’s already 100x better than this dreadfully bad app.
Embarrassing
I use this app as my company uses Newport. I am embarrassed for my team and this company that we are accepting this extremely poor excuse of an app. How do I report this app to Apple for violating TOS?
Crashes all the time
Can’t say I know what the app can do because it crashes every time. Can’t even get past the login screen. Pointless to have on your phone.
Garbage App
This is by far the worst fund management app I’ve ever used. Ridiculously outdated. Simple comparison to fidelity, schwab, or vanguard will show you market analysis, reports, stock prices in real time, etc… This app barely and I mean barely meets the bare minimum requirement of showing me my 401k balance. I hate that my company chose this group to manage our 401k plans.

Doesn’t work…
The app hasn’t worked for over a month, maybe two. There doesn’t appear to be much concern on the part of the company to fix it.

App is terribly bad but it’s the platform my company chose to manage our retirement. But good luck checking your balances or trying to make a transaction. The app crashes 99% of the time before log in so the exorbitant management fees they charge your retirement account doesn’t make its way to their IT Dept budget which shows they can care less about the customer experience. I guess their fiduciary duty doesn’t include access to your money & account info since it’s been this way for months now.
