No tech support
Tech support is non existent. Product works, but some features/options do not work. Contacted support and Rcvd automated response that ticket would be assigned. No follow up after two weeks, so issued another ticket, same thing , no response from tech support. Find another vendor/product

Slowly Perishing
Long term customer with three Smart Garage NCG-100 devices. Worked great for years. Nexx had security issue in 2023 and never seemed to recover. Website is up but help portal page does not exist. Device now not reliably working. Sadly, recommend staying clear .
Having trouble with SiRI, no help
Created a NEXX trouble ticket, says they will get back in 48 hours and it’s been 3 weeks. IOS SIRI says it’s enabled.
The worst
This app is the worst and everytime I use it , I then have to erase the app and reinstall and type my password in. The support for this product is horrible. Only an email.
Used to work….
After a couple years of use it now almost never works correctly. Device shows online and registers the status of the door correctly, but it almost always fails to open/close the garage door. Works for a while if unplugged/plugged from power but just stops again after some time….
Doesn’t work
App sends random notifications. Won’t go beyond home page. Interface is out of line can’t log in.

Frustrating and Worthless
Have NexxGate on my Patriot2 drive swing gates. App constantly churns, gives cloud excuse issues and is unreliable. Wi-Fi for remote drive gate would be great to have but the NEXX app fails to provide any value.

Garbage
Such a piece of junk. I have to update this app once a week (and I mean, delete, redownload, re-set-up my account, open the control box, unplug the Nexx WiFi box from the motherboard,if it back in. And give only had it two years. If you’re buying a US Automatic System that utilizes Nexx for iPhone control feature, get a different system entirely.

Worse device ever!
We got this device years ago, I think they either change apps or went out of business because apparently my garage was open for almost 2 years (according to the app). Fast forward to today, I accidentally unplugged the device and not it is impossible to get it connected again. I have sent several emails to get help with this, but they probably have been sent to spam because i haven’t heard back from anyone yet.

Works well on my 2 gate swing gate
I have a 2 gate swing gate that with an accessory module plugged into my USAutomatic Patriot 2 system motherboard. Initial setup requires WiFi. After app is set up it works reliably over iPhone or iPad Verizon LTE internet signal. My home Wi-Fi is satellite HughesNet with their signal amplifier. It reaches from inside home to 700 ft to gate motherboard unobstructed. About once a month the app goes offline. Sometimes it resets itself. Sometimes I gotta go to the gate, unplug replug the module to reboot and it’s online again. I’ve used the app to open for deliveries from home and 100’s of miles away.
It’s the only system like this I’ve found for my gate without spending thousands of $. It’s not perfect but pretty darn close. Have used for just about a year.

Awful
The company refuses to respond to my multiple requests for help. The product is garbage as is the company apparently. It is not intuitive and dos not, as it claims to work with Alexa or Siri. You can follow the directions for the link setup all day, and it does not work. Otherwise, so far it opens and closes as it’s supposed to sometimes. The history does not work either. I wanted it for a record of my gate being open and closed. It is completely inaccurate. It sends me messages all day that my gate is open when it is NOT open

Device no longer supported
NEXX appears to have closed shop. Device doesn’t connect to internet server, doesn’t be work. Contacted vendor/developer but received no response.
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t open my gate, detects it but when I try to open it nothing happens and it also says Unknown In large letters at the top.
Very glitchy
App has worked decently for me until a few weeks ago and it has been very glitchy. The app won’t even open and load most of the time.
Quit notifying us
This app worked great for awhile. Now it won’t notify us if the garage is open or closed. Our whole purpose of getting the app was to be able to confirm if the garage door was closed when someone left the house. Now it constantly says open.
PLEASE add a widget
Please, I am begging you, add a widget I can add on my iphone. Or do the thing where you long tap the app icon and it gives you the option to open the garage from there.
Support will do nothing.
I have the Nexx garage door opener and several of the Nexx plugs. Used to be happy but now support will not even assist on an issue. The Nexx Plugs will not update to the latest firmware. In their current state, they will not follow the schedule regularly. Random scheduled events are skipped. I have tried all the known resolutions yet firmware updates failed every time.
I do not recommend this product any further. Stay away. Return any items asap before this company fails completely like their firmware updates.

Used to work…
I’ve owned the WiFi garage door opener for years and it always worked well. Not anymore. The device keeps loosing it’s connection to the WiFi, it keeps just telling me to restart the device, event logs are no longer working or accurate. I don’t recommend!
