About

nGeneColorCube is an interactive visual workspace for exploring color relationships in three-dimensional RGB space, inspecting real-world colors, and studying approximate oil-paint mixtures. Five connected workspaces are included: • Color Cube View colors as points inside a rotatable and zoomable 3D RGB cube. Use R, G, and B axis labels and plane-distance guides to understand each channel geometrically. Tap a built-in color point to inspect it, and triple-tap to restore the original cube view. • Color Inspector Sample a real-world color under the camera’s center marker. Select a single point or an averaged sampling area, then review RGB, CMYK, HEX, hue, HSV, HSL, CIE Lab, relative luminance, contrast ratios, color harmonies, cube coordinates, and the nearest built-in palette point. • Oil Mix Choose two oil-paint colors and adjust their proportions. Compare the estimated mixture with nearby palette colors, inspect the relationship in a rotatable Mini 3D RGB cube, and send the selected mixture to the main Color Cube. • Oil Decompose Start from a selected target color and search for approximate paint formulas using two colored paints, three colored paints, or both. Titanium White and Ivory Black can be enabled as optional modifiers without counting toward the colored-paint total. Adjust the allowed ΔRGB error, review mixing ratios, and inspect selected two-paint formulas in a rotatable Mini 3D RGB cube. • Masterpieces Browse bundled artwork references, zoom into an image, and select an exact source pixel. The sampled color can be analyzed, displayed in the Color Cube, and compared with recommended two-paint formulas. A shared selection system keeps the last explicitly selected color from Color Cube, Color Inspector, Oil Mix, or Masterpieces available as the Oil Decompose target, even after the app is relaunched. Oil Mix and Oil Decompose use an RGB-based, channel-wise K/S-style approximation. Results are intended for visual study and formulation starting points, not exact spectral predictions or manufacturer-specific paint recipes. All color analysis and mixing calculations are performed on device. Camera frames, photographs, and videos are not saved or uploaded. Only the last explicitly selected color is stored locally to restore workflow continuity. No account, advertising, analytics, subscription, or server-side color processing is used.
