Unable to get past the first advert screen. Screen frozen. Have deleted the app and updated on numerous occasions and still can’t get beyond the first screen.

So buggy
Never write reviews but downloaded today and can’t get past opening screen no matter what I try to do. Device restarts, uninstalling, the lot.
Easy to use and efficient
I don’t use many apps and don’t live in Northern’s area, but have always found this one very easy to use when visiting

The app crashes every time I try to register for an account so I can’t buy any tickets. I tried 5 times and all I get is “Oops something went wrong”….very helpful! I also noticed on one the screens that I can’t change cookie settings, it just doesn’t do anything at all whereas all the other settings opens a Northern Rail website screen where things can be changed. It’s almost as if they want to retain control of cookies themselves 🤔 - this doesn’t surprise me as I wouldn’t trust them as far as I can throw them.
Northern Rail are a notoriously bad train operator and seemingly can’t build an app that works properly either.

Nothing in this works. Live departures, my tickets all give a stupid error message. ‘Oops something went wrong …’ - deleting. Lose the oops. It’s amateurish & highly irritating.

Thank God for Northern Rail! I’m a ScotRail exile who was trying to avoid Trainline fees when someone recommended this app. It’s exactly the same as the old ScotRail app and ot works. Phew!
Better than the bus
Straightforward to use. Whoever developed this app should go and sort out the garbage at HMRC online
Absolutely useless
I’ve spent 30 minutes trying to get this to open. Reinstalling etc However the app isn’t compatible with IoS and the pop-ups keep freezing the entire thing. I suggest using the traditional website.

I use this app for all train bookings as it is so easy to use.
unreliable platform
I have to be honest, your service is very below average, you can’t plan & execute your journey peacefully, always delays, cancellation without apology or refund. I can’t rely on this platform to commute to work, I lost job due to incessant complaints of train delays.

Please fix your app
Railcard ad keeps being stuck on the screen when you open. No way to close the ad so I can’t use your app. Please fix the issue it’s been like this all through July.
