We wanted to try notey for my son to learn guitar. It was a bit glitchy and I initially missed the cut off for the free trial and got charged the full amount. I definitely panicked but did get a refund. We’ll probably try again at some point if I can get my son to try to play for more than one day. I do wish it was a bit cheaper.

Game freezes
The training is very simple and easy. The only problem is that the program keeps freezing. Once you finished one of the training courses. Sometimes we want to replay, but it won’t let us. I had to uninstall and reinstall or close the app and reopen many times.
Glitchy app and dishonest company
I wanted my son to try this app for guitar. It was ok but glitchy. We kept having to restart it. I missed the trial cutoff by one day and saw a $99 charge the day it ended. I immediately asked for a refund and they refused. They can see it was used just once. They also charge only $59 on their website. Such terrible customer service. Avoid or they’ll take your money, too.

I keep on playing the right cord ,but it keeps on saying it’s wrong like fix your game

The app hearing
The app hearing is properly the worst part of this app. Like I literally had to play the note 16 times or more just for the app to hear it is frustrating like I’m 10 yrs old and I’ve seen worse apps with better hearing but besides that the app is a good app but the hearing part is the part the makes me mad so not really recommendable but still useable

Good app for beginner students
Engaging graphic, easy going gamification using strings. I think kids might enjoy it more the. Adults but adults like games as well.

Absolutely awesome application
Doesn’t hear my guitar
I am hitting notes perfectly and loud and I can’t pass a level because it doesn’t always hear when I play notes. It’s incredibly frustrating.
Idk it has potential
it's either me the guitar or the game. It seems like it's tuned right but the guy gets stuck when you're running falls off the map and I know I'm hitting the right keys that's the game and then I don't. I don't know man but maybe maybe another time
Don’t waste your time
The ads looked good so o downloaded it and jumped right in. By the second lesson the app no longer recognized my E string even after using their tuner and tuning it perfectly! Completely unusable as it keeps saying I am “maybe striking the wrong string” tried many times to redo the tuning and still not working!

I thought l would be playing games while learning the notes, but tact was not my experience. The app was totally different.
Best app for learning guitar
This app is set up wonderfully! My kids have improved so much since getting Notey! The games are engaging and provide extrinsic value to the learning process that pushes my kids to continue learning!
Wtf is this anyway?
This thing has so little to do with learning the guitar that it’s pathetic. Dumb video games that require using strings as controllers!
