App loyalty program doesn’t work
Loyalty program does not work since the update. Coupons cannot be used in the app (always “invalid”) and providing your phone number to the cashier does not result in loyalty points. If you submit their customer service form online, you will receive an exceptionally delayed response (past the period where they will provide points) and nothing but form letters. I was a loyal customer for many years but I am done. They can go out of business just like every other restaurant purchased by private equity.

Rewards don’t work
I tried to redeem a reward on my account for a free bundt cake, but the app said I already used the reward (which I didn’t). When I tried again, the reward was gone from my account. Thank goodness the worker was kind enough to give me my free reward.
Thanx makes terrible reward redemption apps and the same thing happened to me with their Salt & Straw app.

Nothing worked and no one helped.
I find it so completely frustrating when a brand like this one attempts to market to individuals by printing the use of their app. When I finally installed the app, the promotional code wouldn’t work. Even verified with an employee that the code was still valid. The employee seeing that the app wasn’t working did nothing to assist. Insisting that the owners don’t allow that kind of assistance. So what a great experience?! Invite us to use the app, then reneg on the promotion and showcase that will a handcuffed employee who does nothing but see an j haiku potential customer walk out the door. Well done Bundt. well done!
